Thanks
I would have put yacht varnish over the eggshell if it was staying outside, but they'll be in the garage when they're not in use so I've not bothered. 0 -

I finally got around to doing some makeovers today - the first was really just a new lick of paint, but there's a before photo on my blog if you're interested.
Then I finally got around to doing up my little vintage deckchair. I'm thinking of doing a mini tutorial if anyone's interested? I was so scared of doing it but it was pretty simple in the end.

Irishgirl you have done an amazing job with your table and chairs it is beautiful.
My Dad gave me the same kind of table and chairs a few years ago.
After seeing what you have done ,I can't believe I chopped mine up and sent it to the refuse yard !0 -
I too have regretted some of the furniture that has been chucked out over the last few years when I see the makeovers that have been done by some of you. The furniture looks nicer than when it left the manufactuter IMHO0

I have a winged back chair that I would like to make a shabby chic slipcover for. I'm pretty good at basic sewing. I haven't found any simple online instructions with pictures - can anyone point me in the right direction?
Many thanks!:happylove0 -
