Thanks I would have put yacht varnish over the eggshell if it was staying outside, but they'll be in the garage when they're not in use so I've not bothered. 0 I would have put yacht varnish over the eggshell if it was staying outside, but they'll be in the garage when they're not in use so I've not bothered. 0

I finally got around to doing some makeovers today - the first was really just a new lick of paint, but there's a before photo on my blog if you're interested.
Then I finally got around to doing up my little vintage deckchair. I'm thinking of doing a mini tutorial if anyone's interested? I was so scared of doing it but it was pretty simple in the end.

I too have regretted some of the furniture that has been chucked out over the last few years when I see the makeovers that have been done by some of you. The furniture looks nicer than when it left the manufactuter IMHO0

I have a winged back chair that I would like to make a shabby chic slipcover for. I'm pretty good at basic sewing. I haven't found any simple online instructions with pictures - can anyone point me in the right direction?
 Many thanks!:happylove0
