    Hello lovely ladies

    I haven't posted here for ages but I do lurk and drool over your creations.

    Just wondering if you could help me. I am searching for cheap cushion inserts/pads to make my own cushions. Any ideas? I am based in NI.

    The weather is great :D I can get outside and start painting things again:j
    Just want to show you this bargain I got from the CS the other day :D

    It was only £1.49 and I had just followed the guy in who brough it in :D
    Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

    Tara, I just used old pillows for my cushion inserts. I shook all the feathers down to cushion size and then zig zag stitched all the way across a cuple of times. Then trimmed off the left over fabric (a few feathers escaped at this point!). I then measured them and made the cushion covers to fit.
    They all need washing now because DD has just smeared greasy horrible suncream all over them by leaning against them :( Oh well, I'll find out how well they wash soon.

    Gorgeous! I would love to have something like this in my kitchen - its very nostalgic which is in vogue atm although I have not heard of blue moon soap myself.:T:T
