  • Love the barclays sticker - I wonder how many people would rent the bike and drive it about without even noticing..

I'm reminded of the spoof advert that Viz magazine did many year ago:

    No job?
    No money?

    Then !!!! off!

Gnat West - The frank bank.

Or, to quote the Halifax to me a week or two back:
Eight grand in cash held by us?
You want another account to pay even more into?
But you've already got three current accounts!
    !!!! off.

    Unbelievable.

"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"
  • To be fair though Barclays are one of the few banks that didn't have to be bailed out by the Tax Payer.

    Still funny though :D

I saw stickers this morning when picking up my bikes, and pulled them off. I don't mind a protest, but let's keep it family friendly, eh?

Seems it's going to be the only way to get the majority of the population's feelings about the banks through to them, since they're still raking in million in profit and bonuses and taking no notice of the fact that it was them that caused this horrific situation we find ourselves in.

I don't care whether it's not in the interests of investors and shareholders, but all of those banks that got handouts from the government, should pay it ALL back from profits before any bonuses are paid to anyone, why should the common man, that stands to lose most by this ridiculous situation, be the ones that shoulder the burden of their incompetence and greed?

Why? All that would result in is the best directors and staff leaving and going to a bank who will pay bonuses. Sounds more like typical spite against the banks than a constructive policy.

It's amusing that you find them making a profit wrong, whereas when they made a loss they were vilified for wrecking everything.
  • Nice one Martin. Thanks for promoting swearing on this site.

I would hope an Editorial Assistant would be able to spell.
  • Your full stop is lacking the English spacing. Your punctuation is unacceptable, please try harder.

An ill-fitting helmet is worse than no helmet. (And do you really want to share pediculosis capitis with the last person to use it?)

If the lack of helmets concerns you (and the jury is still out as to whether helmets cause more injuries,) you should be providing your own.
    Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries
  • Photoshopped!!
There is no such thing as bad publicity :D
Money is not the root of all evil.
It depends on how you obtain it and how you use it.

Have you sold your soul to the devil?
