Between this and the snap mouse traps, I think I might be responsible for more than a few of your lost pounds!
  • Good morning! Lovely sunny day up here, the telly and radio people have finally got over the 'who will be the first Team GB Gold medal' droning and this is a very thinly veiled attempt to bump your thread on to the next page cos I feel like I killed the conversation yesterday!

    Plans for today?

Hello.. You haven't killed it. I was crazy busy with work yesterday.

Nothing happened that was especially mse except a NSD.

I am stressed out because I have to buy flights for this upcoming holiday. Not only are they expensive, but I sent my native country passport away to the home office with my request for a British passport on 17 July. They are supposed to return your native country passport within 4 days. I still don't have it. I have called them 3 times and every time they tell me they will call me back on 24-48 hours. No one ever calls me back.

The trip is 24 August. If I wait another day to book tickets they will be more expensive. If I book them and I don't get my passport, OH and my mum will be going on vacation together!

    Help

    What a nightmare!

My mum and my OH are rarely in the same room together. I can't imagine them going on holiday! :rotfl:

Hope your passport turns up soon. Maybe an afternoon mail delivery? Ours doesn't come in till around 2pm normally.

I just assumed you were quiet because you were reading about Mike's Mob :D See my note on my diary about that. I've had to post a spoiler alert.
