Piq you are a tease.
So yesterday was eventful. Took the lady with the unpronouncable name to the airport. All the trains were cancelled from Paddington so we drove. She was meant to be on the 10:30 Lot to Warsaw but the 9:30 was sitting there empty so they put her on that. Back home we came in no traffic (we = me + OH) and I began my Christmas tidy. I don't know if this is just some weird American thing but basically for good luck your house is supposed to be super clean, all admin done, old papers shredded and out etc ahead of the new year.
OH offered to walk the dogs (a Christmas miracle in itself!) she walks them one at a time because they arent good lead walkers and she does it so rarely no of them listen to her. She gets Lucy (a/k/a Lucifer) into her harness and away they go. The other 2 are crying and howling at the injustice of it all.
Anyway about 20 minutes later I think I hear kids playing in the street whch isn't unusual since we live near a primary school.
Then my phone goes and it is OH gasping "Lucy slipped the lead and I caught her in the alley but I need her lead and I am too scared can you come"
So I open the front door and there right in front of the door is the harness and lead! I go to the alley and there is OH holding the dog. I take the dog and walk home with it.
OK part 2 coming up but I am laughing so hard I need a break.

ok part 2. She them when to walk Atlas. 3.5 lbs of cuteness (If I can figure out how to post a photo I will) He is delightful on the lead.
20 minutes later she returns. I ask her how Atlas was for her and she sayd '!!!!!!! awful'! I said why? Well she took him on the retracting lead, had it fully out, couldnt wotk out how to get it short, a lday came up the street, Atlas went over for a sniff, the lady started screaming, told OH "get your dog on a proper lead you !!!!!!! ugly b*&^h and then the lady stepped in a huge mound of dog poop (not ours, we bag!)
I will save smokey's walk for last but I will say he is 14 and very slow at checking his pee-mail.Mortgage: £280,752/ £262,515.84

Oh how glad am I that some bad dog owner did not scoop the poop, it sounds like it couldn't have happened to a nicer person. Poor OH, its sounds like maybe she should give up the dog walking.

so lastly we have smokey. everything starts out ok until he sees a lady walking into her flat and walking in after her a big dog. again retractable leash issue. the other dog was a bernese mountain dog who barked at smokey and scared him so bad the he wee'd right in the lady's hallway.
I think I am the designated dog walker but I have to be careful as the stitches across my chest are still healing. xMortgage: £280,752/ £262,515.84

yes well I did the dog walk today. Much less eventful. I was loaded down with poop bags but I only had to use 1.
which I then deposited in one of Waitrose's lovely waste cans.
Tomorrow will be carp.
OH is taking her presents and food parcels to her Mum's to whose house I am not allowed.
I hoovered today, the kitchen is clean. Tomorrow will be the bed clothes so we start off Christmas Morning on a clean bed clothes wake up.
My friend told me she might have a steady £60 a week for me for Jan and Feb. That will be very exciting if it comes though.
Now for the big NEWS. My MUM has invited herself for a vist arriving on 21 December and staying for 20 days. Please granny send valium.
On the health front I am still using the blasted catheter 2x a day and I still feel all emotional about it.
The scars are healing up and I am enjoying showering myself. It's lovely.Mortgage: £280,752/ £262,515.84
