• It's 50/50 now. HO are changing tack lately. If it was last weeks poster they could come up with some crap like 'the offer has expired'. Alternatively you might just sail through and get a full refund. I guess you'll find out Monday!

it was the godfather, this weeks game of the week

dead easy, mobile phones have calculators and you say I presumed that it would correct itself at the checkout.

I see Clasics beat me to it.

hmmm, thats interesting!! if the receipt is only showing the total price and NOT the £/KG how are people then playing it when it comes to claiming R&R?

what are you saying to CS about how you realised the price was wrong?

i mean, how many people can work out 1.038kg at 2.69 per kg and then also work out that that is more than the SEL price?

we are only talking an over price of pence!! so how do you all play it?

I tell them that I saw the overcharge against the SEL,and assumed the till would take it off, but look, it hasn't! It takes a while to explain but I know my maths!!

If there was a yellow ticket or yellow sign that means it was a special offer and I say that I expected the discount to come off at the till. If it was a normal white ticket I say that I noticed as I was packing that the kg weight was more than I remembered and double checked after I had paid - and surprise surprise I have been overcharged.
As I have said in previous posts always go with cs to check prices, occasionally misprice tickets disappear when they go alone.
If you get a sarky comment above previous r&rs or that you have more than 1 misprice in your shopping, just be polite and say that you always check your receipt.

but what i am saying is.....if the item is £2.69 per kg and its 1.038kg that would make a pack price of £2.79. if the SEL had said £2.68 per kg that should make same pack £2.78 therefore 1p overpriced and an R&R. but......

on your reciept if the price per/kg is not shown, will only say... "item £2.79" how do you claim you worked out the 1p overprice just by glancing at your receipt?

edit, ok posted above while i was typing this out :)

edit edit...ok i'll leave it. thanks alot Contantine...i know what i mean but i am obviously not making myself understood :(

edit edit edit..i'll get my coat.

I see this has been answered, but would just like to add....You dont need to work anything out,.....if the price per kg on the pack is higher than the price per kg on the sel.....then you have been overcharged.....and you assumed that the reduction would be done at the till.
Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

• am i right in saying that if you were charged the amount on the pack then you obviously didnt get the sel price cos it was less than the pack price (pennies dropped i think ) ;)
