It's 50/50 now. HO are changing tack lately. If it was last weeks poster they could come up with some crap like 'the offer has expired'. Alternatively you might just sail through and get a full refund. I guess you'll find out Monday!

Just the (total) price of the pack.
I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!
  • hi all, im new here, but ive had some r&rs over the last week, today i hit the jackpot with an xbox 360 and gotw, would you know the discount didnt kick in. i went to customer services and expained that id been overcharged, the girl went to speak to the manager and came back saying that the discount applies to the other xbox console, i told him it doesnt state which console it applies to on the poster, he said oh right, he then said look im prepared to give you the 20 pound on the game but im not giving you a refund, he then said basically we have had 10 people in here this week trying it on, a group of people are going around doing it and weve been told by head office not to give refunds on consoles, he also said the police are investigating it, i declined his offer and i asked him if he could ring head office now and he said they closed 10 mins ago so i asked for thier number to ring them monday morning, i then went back to customer servives to collect the xbox, while i was waiting he came over to me and said is everything ok , to which i replyed yes they have just gone to fetch the xbox, he then said i can still do the 20 pounds off if you like, i said no its ok i will ring head office, he said are you sure because i know they wont give you a refund but its up to you, i decined his offer and left with the xbox. does anyone think he was trying it on and am i kikely to get my r&r?

Just ring HO CS on monday morning, you are off to a good start by standing your ground and keeping the xbox and game. What a way to break your r&r cherry :D If you read this post and misprices 10 you will get all the info you need ... i know it's a lot to read but it's well worth it.

    Good luck :D

The receipt only shows the article and the price, (unless its a weighable item...eg loose grapes), it should tally with the price on the item

That price has been calculated using the per kg price on that pack....if the SEL per kg is less than the price per kg on the pack.....you have been overcharged.

    Hi
Same situation for my OH tonight. Bought DS lite and Fifa 07 and no discount. Staff offered the £10 and when he objected they offered the game refunded but he politely declined and said he will take it up with HO on Monday.
Anyone else got or not got R&R on the DS Lite????

I got a white DS lite and Mario bros R+R but it was due to an out of date poster being the reason for no discount, no contact with head office the non food manager agreed to the R+R after all the CS staff said I was overcharged and said I was due a full refund. The easiest r+r I have had. Im not a fan of contacting HO mainly because they can and have just say no or worse, live to fight another day is how I play things, if the store refuses 1 call to HO maybe without getting to the point of handing my details over. If they ask for my details I will just hang up and try the store again then get a refund if they disagree. no skin off my nose I would like an xbox but I have my DS and paid for PSP.

If people cant help people on these threads, then they should rather not say anything then say something which isnt any use to the person who needs help. No offence "God" HINT HINT. :)
Very true, there is a technical help thread for people looking for PC information, or use the I wanna buy it/do it thread asking for route planning sites that take posts codes. you really need sat nav or autoroute as they can plan the best route for you.

Reading the thread is a good idea, reading the posts is a better idea
    how about the part
but ive had some r&rs over the last week.
I know some cherries can be surgically restored but I am sure this isnt one of them.

Trading standards would not accept "it's last weeks poster" as an excuse, it was an offer to purchase that you chose to accept... R&R i believe ;)
