  • Any one had a problem with getting warranty support for an R&R item?
A hard drive i got last week just failed on me.
I know my 'statutory rights are not affected' but some CS staff don't seem to care about their own refund policy so why should they care about the law...!!!!

I doubt very much you will meet any resistance to be honest with you, but should you just start climbing the ladder, supervisor, section/store manager customer services etc but I doubt you'll get very far before someone realises the situation may not be ideally how they like it but is one they need to resolve.

Customers use PDA's all the time. Better than using paper for a shopping list, no?

I would not be too concerned using one as long as you were resonably subtle.

    It is replace, you know...

The policy was originally there to reassure customers back when own label products started to become common place. Along the lines of "If you don't like it, we will REFUND the item and REPLACE it". It was extended to cover missprices when shelf edge pricing was introduced (as opposed to individual price tickets on each item).

As far as I know, anyway.

I had read in earlier threads of this forum that it was actually refund and replace.....

but as you say....that was when, "if you wernt happy with your Tesco product, they would replace it with another brand"

Now that (maybe)no longer exists, and since the forum began....I think it has generally been known a Refund and Retain..........

Although I will still stand corrected by Ben500............the main purpose of my post was to refer the newbie OP of the question to Page1 Post1 of this thread.
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

The shift changes are not at set times, they differ from store to store and from day to day.
