    Hi Beccie

Not a daft question at all. I mainly play bingo on there. It is all free and you can get points through various methods (wicked wheel if you have less than 200, 1,000 a day from posting in the forum and at the moment the advent calendar). It is 10,000 to get a £5 voucher but it is usually possible to get at least one a week if you play regularly. I just leave it running in the background and remember to renew my tickets every 5 games.

Good luck if you have a go.

    Hi everyone

I hope you are all well.

Not too bad a day today. Went into town this morning (packed!) and we got the turkey for christmas (mum paid for them). She also bought me a new bag which will be for Christmas. Then went to the cemetery and put some festive flowers (with a gold glittery star) and a little glittery Christmas tree on my dad and Joshua's grave (will probably get nicked but only cost a few quid).

After that I went to Beefeater with my friend from work. I budgeted £20 (plus a £10 Leisure voucher) for it as she paid last time but she insisted on paying. I did put the voucher towards it though. Got some Nectar points too.

I also did another survey today so another £3 Luncheon vouchers towards my valentines meal.

On my own tonight as OH still away. I was very close to ordering myself a takeaway as I didn't have to buy lunch today but have resisted and stuck a frozen pizza in the oven instead :D.

Lots of questions tonight and playing on Bingoport of course.

I am very unhappy :(. We have snow here and I really hate it. Woke up yesterday morning, looked out of the window and said a few choice words. OH was supposed to be staying at his mate's last night but decided to come home instead. He then proceeded to drag me out into town to do some Christmas shopping (why do men leave it until the last minute??).

So I slipped and slided my way around town (with him repeating over and over again 'if you just walk normally you won't slip up'). If I had my way I would just shut myself away until the snow went again. We are due some rain on Monday so I am hoping that will get rid of it as it did last time we had snow. Sorry to moan - I know that other people have it much worse than we do and I really do feel for you.

Anyway, not really sure what I am doing up at this time. Just couldn't sleep and thought that there was no point in just laying there so came on here for an hour or so. Just done all my posting on Bingoport and the advent calendar so I have 2k in points to try and build on later today.

Did a few surveys yesterday so built up my points on some of the sites. Think I'm going to do 10 questions before I go back to sleep (or try to).

We are watching a free film later today - The King's Speech. Supposed to be really good so will let you know. I'm hoping that it's relatively ice free at the shopping centre where the cinema is.

Emily - This bit really made me smile :D, OH is not last minute, he is positively early compared to the 'average bear'. Late enough to take advantage of the bargains, early enough to still have choice. 'Nice but dim' as he chose the busiest shopping day of the year though.

If you ever get a Revlon Hollywood mirror for a present, be suspicious (unless it is what you asked for). We have loads in stock and normally sell less than 1 a week. When I checked, apparently come Christmas Eve at about 3pm, they sell like 'hot cakes' :rotfl:

I forgot to mention that he didn't actually buy anything. He decided to look at the shopping centre we are going to later this morning. I must admit that he says he has all of mine but it's his parents that he hasn't got yet. So looks like his mum might get the mirror instead :rotfl:.

Well what a disaster that free film was. We waited around for nearly 2 hours for it to begin as there were some technical issues and then an hour into it, the screen went upside down and it started running backwards. Was quite funny to watch but then they said it was beyond repair and we couldn't finish watching it. It was quite a good film too.

Anyway, all is not lost - they gave us 2 complimentary tickets for another film of our choice. It was ice and snow free there too so I could walk around without fear of slipping up.

OH has gone to his mate's in London now as he has to be at work in London really early so I have an evening to myself.

well done on thinking of some novel ways or busting your debts.

Northerlas, you gave me a giggle about the mirrors LOL

Sorry that it is so snowy again. I gather heathrow is closed. My brother and sister in law are trying to fly in and can't get there!

I hope that 2011 sees you make real inroads into your debts

    Thanks Chev.

I must sound really sad moaning about the snow as it really isn't that bad down here but I just really hate it - it just causes problems for everyone. My sister and BIL were supposed to be going to Doncaster to visit his family this weekend but have had to put that off until after Christmas now as she was scared of getting stranded up there.

I hope your family manage to get to you safely.

Chilling out in bed at the moment reading my book (P.S. I Love You) and playing on Bingoport. I started the day on 2k of points and now have 6.5k :j.

Just spent about an hour trying to track my mum down. She wasn't answering her home phone or her mobile and I had visions of her lying on some pavement somewhere after slipping up and breaking her leg or something. Thankfully she was just at her friend's house and 'didn't hear her phone'. She has strict instructions to get a taxi home. I don't know - parents!!

Think I might construct a to-do list for tomorrow:
    1. 10 questions
    2. 10 questions
    3. 10 questions
    4. 10 questions
    5. 10 questions
    6. 10 questions
    7. 10 questions
    8. 10 questions
    9. 10 questions
    10. 10 questions
    11. 10 questions
    12. 10 questions
    13. 10 questions
    14. 10 questions
    15. 10 questions
    16. 10 questions
    17. 10 questions
    18. 10 questions
    19. 10 questions
    20. 10 questions
    21. Washing up
    22. Put a wash on
    23. Do any surveys I receive
    24. Play on Bingoport
    25. Wrap up sister's DVD (that finally arrived yesterday)
That should do it. Back to my book.
