What a ridiculous thing to say! There's not just one way to be and people who are a size 4. 6, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30 or 32 are still normal people.

I'm not so sure about people whose first instinct is to be mean and unkind and judgemental though. Is that "normal"?

The cheapest gym around here is £90 a month, and that is an off peak membership when most women are at work, college or caring for small children.

You're very free with other people's money for someone who lives on benefits and is trying to play the system by moving a woman and her child in purely for financial gain.

your attitude and others like it with comments like that dont help those with low self esteem at all, are not helpful and more to the point didn't answer the OPs question. And last I heard, average size in the Uk is 16.

People who play the benefits system like you are planning too cost the country millions too.
Incidentally what would you do if the woman you loved (i am of course taking a huge leap here by assuming that someone as shallow as you is capable of love) became ill and had to take steroids or Tamoxifen (both drugs can cause huge weight gain) Would you stick by her or say "Bye love Im off" to find a high street honey" I think i know the answer to that question already. I went to Slimming World eight years ago and lost ten stone. Thank God i was already married cos i would rather be celibate than re enter the dating scene with men like you about. Raver i shudder when i realise my poor niece could end up dating someone like you!

I expect you would be shocked to find your 'status' if you checked your bmi...especially if you work out everyday, all that muscle weighs. You could even be morbidly obese.

^this was ten years ago, and it has gone up, now down. The average clothes size of a woman now is size 16. I wonder what other averages you work by and have got so wrong!!

Can't see you getting a job for BAA at heathrow with an attitude like that!

Heidi stated that she has had asthma her whole life so I expect steroids have been a factor in her weight gain. Not that it is anyone's damn business. One hopes that superficial idiots will grow up one day but some seem beyond hope.

I would like to the many positive posts on here. Go for the job, let them know that you are willing and able to do any job they want you to do and that you genuinely want to work and you'll be fine.

Interviewers can spot genuine people and you are one of them.
