  • You wouldnt be able to say that someone was too black or too gay or too bald yet certain people on this site seem to think its ok to discrimi nate against overweight people or even disabled people.
Why are they the safe prejudice!
  • There are some seriously nasty people on here sometimes, good luck with the job interview, go for it.

There's one girl in our local Tescos who is " not skinny ". And out of the whole store she is the one with the brightest smile, the one who won't just point an aisle, she will take you to the product.

Heidi you go for it, big is beautiful....:T

ive just been to the blackpool asda store and saw a very large young lady serving at the cashout - I though to myself thats refreshing (rather than the usual skinny miserys) and then looked to the next stall - another large one - and then another - and another - there was an army of healthy large working staff - made me feel good as im a fattie as well.

Go for it and enjoy yourself.

I'm a size 20-22 and am pretty overweight on paper.. I go snowboarding every week and am fitter than most there.. I can ride for hours on end.. I also used to be a very capable scuba diver ;) I've never let my weight hold me back, and whilst I could def do with losing weight, I don't think weight and fitness/strength always go hand in hand.

My last job as an Assistant Manager involved a lot of deliveries and stock taking, and I was the best one of the team, including the young slim lads lol..

    Go for it OP..

Yes you could do with losing some weight, I'm sure most of us could to some extent, but don't let it hold you back for one minute!
    9/70lbs to lose :)

I am the largest person working in my department of 25 and for the past 7 years since I started I have had the lowest sickness day record every year, 0 for most of those years. :D
being the largest person doesnt make you fat it just means your larger than the others
