    hi everyone

at 15 and 14 - i decided enough was enough and ds and dd are now responsible for their own rooms - so today was an easy one for me;)

kids have done their rooms too - so i've been making jam from blackberries picked while walking mutley, and crumbles with apples from friend at works tree - if i never peel an apple again it'll be too soon. but does anyone know what i can do with over ripe plums? keep it clean please ladies:D

    take care

Triker very pretty numbers xx are you feeling any better?
Helly well maybe the HV did you a favour in a roundabout way because you got to see the nice midwife and she has put your mind at ease - 13lbs is brilliant for the LO - see you ARE doing it right - love and hugs and hope you have a peaceful night xx
gtx plum jam? stewed for crumble? some sort of chutney?

please dont fret about my own list - its not for a week its just what needs doing asap!

but the good news - well I think it is - I have a new lady coming tomorrow to start cleaning for me - provided she likes me and my flat! I understand she is very reliable so that will be good so my lists should shrink a bit tomorrow!!

thanks for all your kind wishes

    night night
love and hugs to all of you - you are all so special

Havent read back the thread yet (only this page) as I have been sorting the freezers again to have a change around and to get stuff in. The stuff in the landing one wasnt getting used and there were still veg from last years crop (they'll do in casseroles!) and I have just joined the freezer challenge too as I need to use some before I buy any more.

Anyway back to poor Hellyboo. Its awful that some think they knowitallbecausetheyretrained HV can reduce a new mum to tears. Do what you feel is right for you and your baby and for what it helps I went back to work when my 2 were 9 weeks old and I mixed fed them both until they were 5 months old. It didnt do them any harm at all. Bigs hugs honey.

Anyway going to leave my list where it was yesterday and work on using up food stocks.

Big hugs (spoons etc) for the lovely Toots, Lady Liberty, Diva and LameWolf to name but a few who I think might need them

    See you all tomorrow

HELLY BOO- i bet she hasn't even got kids LOL!! I had a very horrible nurse when i had my first DD. She very obviously had a problem with my then age- just 18 but looked about 16! Was trying to breast feed and she was so snappy- 'you're not doing it right' etc etc but i perservered and was fine. Then DD2 was very prem and had to do the whole expressing thing and its such hard work isn't it? You just don't need someone talking like that. So insensitive. DS was a terrible breast feeder, he used to be on off on off- exposing my boobs for all to see!!! So i breast fed him morning and night in the privacy of my own home then bottles the rest then switched fully at about 6 months and he is the biggest healthiest boy ever!!! You've given your little one the best bit!! And through a tube- as someone whos done the same its very hard and quite traumatic. So i say screw her!!

Anyway sorry all that was an essay but that made me very angry!!!

Have pottered today! Only done bits and bobs. However I now have an unexpected child free weekend as they are off to their dads so Saturday their room is going to be immaculate!! I'll catch up over the weekend as well as de-cluttering a bottle of vino with one of my girls!!!!

TOOTS your list is too long- do you want some help!!!! We'll all do it for you. xxxxx

    Night all. xxx

Thanks folks for the hugs. I have spent the last few days running round like a headless chicken, not achieving much at all.
Poor old puss, who was 22, was 'put to sleep' yesterday. She has had her 9 lives:) I went out in the morning to the hospital and got home to find she had a broken leg :(

I don't like to post because it feels like I am moaning but the other reason I haven't posted much was because my friend passed away last week, DS was with her and he is not himself at all and I am trying to do best by him too.

Problems with the bank which I will post elsewhere. DH has asked me to write to 'my friend' Martin!!

Toots, DS1 has just come in from work to tell us he can see huge snow clouds over the top of the hill. I saw them too but chose to ignore them.
I am sure it is not cold enough to snow.
Hospital yesterday was testing on my nerves in my hands, which is a common test, put left me unable to use the keyboard!

I haven't caught up with the thread yet but a special note for Toots, please slow down and don't try to do too much, please take time out for yourself. Your list scares me.

hellybooHugs for you, what a horror your health visitor is. They should really be there for your support not to harangue you without listening to you. You are doing what is right for your babe and you know him better than they do.

Hellyboo ((hugs)) what an awful person, if you're feeling up to it I think you have a definate reason for complaint! I am pleased you went back and seen the midwife, hope she tells the ignorant witch exactly what she thinks
Toots ((hugs)) from all of us x
Mumto5, maybe give him the chance as he's said it's the induction days, explain he needs to go every day without fail and see how he gets on. Do you know where he has been instead? With the little one agreed, speak to the head, what a stupid policy. Offer them the alternative of disrupting reception by asking to collect the little one early every day.
    invisiblecabbage ((hugs))
PenPen I know a lot who went there too and loved it
Boddy hope your cold goes soon, I've still got my August one and it's a pest!
vanilla hope you get the visit sorted on your terms, stick to what you want for your family and don't be bullied into telling them if you are not ready x
poohbear ((hugs)) hope you get things sorted soon
rach hope the interview went well and you're still resting, you've just reminded me I need to buy a new phone too lol thank you! If yours haven't sold yet drop me a message how much you want for them and what type they are ;)

Ended up much busier than I wanted to be this week, but productive. We did the show last weekend and I think we've raised close to £1000 for charity so all my 7am-3am days are now worth it!!! I've not sone much with the house, have binned a lot, kept up with the laundry (plus additional the dog made puking on my bed where he shouldn't even be!) but that is about all. Had issues with DS2, bullying but being dealt with I hope however DS1 seems to be still getting on well. We're trying to arrange a meeting for the 'niggly bits'.

I've been naughty and stuck a break in half term on my card. £58 for accomodation and £56 for DS2 a 'wolf walk' including membership for him so we can do lego land plus wolf walk in october half term :D be 2 happy children! Merlin's are covering the lego land passes and the £120 in fuel which of course helps.

I've got a meeting all day tomorrow so won't get much done there either. Been talked into providing transport for the cub camp this weekend to some activities but instead of DS2 going Friday then me back on Saturday then return on Sunday he's just coming with me Saturday morning. The other kids are going to be exhausted anyway as they have had a week away with DS2s old school so probably for the best he misses tired night!

Think I might get myself to bed now, got to put a washer load in then another in the TD (parp weather) wait for DP to get in who's on his way home then bed time for me

    Goodnight all x x x x
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

    Evening all,

I've had a funny sort of day. I did my dailies this morning then the plasterer turned up. Him and his wife are having big problems and he doesn't know what to do so we had a quick chat before i took Ds2 to school. Then i went to neveah's where her DH made Mcmuffins out of that takeaway secrets book. They were delicious and i don't even like the real thing.

Nev and i had a mooch around the shops and took some of her books to a charity shop where a nasty lady was rude about me thinking i'd left the shop.:rotfl:Then we went for lunch with our other Sister.

I picked Ds2 up and then my Stepmum phoned to tell me my favourite Uncle had died this morning.:( My Dad was too upset to talk to us about it so she did. He lived in Canada so we won't even be able to go to the funeral.:(

After tea and bath and bed etc i had to help OH finish stripping the wallpaper in Ds2's room, it's stuck fast so i'm going to have to finish it off tomorrow before the plasterer comes again.
