    Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining area
    Level One
    Sweep and mop the floor

    Extras
    1. Wipe skirtings
    2. wash windows
    3. Thoroughly clean out 1 cupboard
    Tuesday - Master bedroom & landing
    Level Three
    Sort that present cupboard.. incorporate what you can to birthday/christmas list

    Extras
    1. Tidy floor of the wardrobe!
    2. Binbag dance
    Wednesday ~ Living/family areas.
    Level Two
    Binbag dance
    Level Three
    Sort out ALL the paperwork strewn about.. put it all in a heap and work through it!

    Extras
    1. Sort out one drawer/cupboard
    2. Sort a pile of stuff you have been ignoring for an age!
    Thursday - Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
    Level One
    Clean floors in these rooms
    Level Two
    Clean baths/shower, toilets, don't forget under the rim! and sinks
    Clear any clutter from desk
    Level Three
    Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains etc whatever needs cleaning.
    Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required


    Extras
    • Wipe the paintwork in these rooms
    • Clean the radiators in these rooms
    • Wash the windows in these rooms.. and shine the mirrors
    • Do any toothbrushes/sponges etc need replacing?
    Friday- those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms
    Level One
    Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc
    Spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself!!!!! paint your nails, make an appointment to have your hair done, a lovely soak in the bath.. whatever you feel like!! I'm having my nails done this morning as usual
    Level Two
    Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade and curtain pole!!!
    Level Three
    Clean 2 windows
    Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors


    Extras
    1. Wash a set of curtains, nets, duvet or throw
    2. Wipe the radiators, skirtings and window & door frames!
    3. Sort through one box or toys.. if you have no children find a box of junk.. is there anything that needs to go?
    4. End of week fling!! grab a binbag and fill it with stuff to leave the house.. rubbish or charity shop or to donate to a friend!

    Going to the hairdressers at lunch so trying to get as much done before that as I can. I'd like to have Friday's list left my then so when I am back I can concentrate on number 1 of that list, it could take all weekend but if I manage it I will be able to complete a whole week :D

  • A day away from my job as car in garage for a repair (fingers crossed its not too many ££££s). Have around 100mins until I'm going out for a girly lunch (per Piggers do something for you instructions!).

    So far I'm down to

    Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining area
    Level One
    Sweep and mop the floor
    Level Two
    Wipe fronts of appliances and units
    Descale the kettle!
    Wipe table and replace cloth if needed
    Level Three
    Clear and wipe window sills
    Clean out the oven thoroughly..
    Extras
    1. Wipe skirtings
    2. wash windows
    3. Thoroughly clean out 1 cupboard

    Vacuum and turn mattress before replacing clean sheets
    Level Two
    15 minutes floordrobe clearance

    Lots of washing blowing outside - off to do some more dotting about...

    Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

  • No flying at all yesterday :( I really start to flag by the end of the week. But I have noticed that my morning routine is getting towards being a habit - getting my butt moving and doing it is a lot easier than it used to be.

    Will try and be better today. Thank you everyone :)

    It is great how roomy and amazing my living room is starting to look. There is one cupboard I haven't sorted for a while that I may try and do later and then I may be able to keep on top of this room :D

    Shower next and then I can complete the bathroom. At this rate I may even have to attempt 5 minutes in th RoD before I go out, at least I will be able to relax more when I get back :D

    Baby bathed and having her 3rd feed of the morning! She was doing the biggest smiles while I was washing her hair and cooing at me while I undressed her..

    Off to shop in an hour.. best write myself a short list before I forget everything I want.. oh.. must find mortgage paper as well to drop in at solicitor..
