Wow, I am starting Friday's list, on Friday, with no other days left to do, I am sure this is a first :j Shame it will take at least another week to finish that room
Friday- spare room
Level One
Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc
[STRIKE]Spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself!!!!! paint your nails, make an appointment to have your hair done, a lovely soak in the bath.. whatever you feel like!! I'm having my nails done this morning as usual[/STRIKE]
Level Two
Vacuum the floor
Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade and curtain pole!!!
Level Three
Sort through a cupboard/chest of drawers and get the clothes out which are no longer wearable, too small or out of season!
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors
Extras- Wipe the radiators, skirtings and window & door frames!
- Sort through one box or toys.. if you have no children find a box of junk.. is there anything that needs to go?
- End of week fling!! grab a binbag and fill it with stuff to leave the house.. rubbish or charity shop or to donate to a friend!

goes to get torch, ropes, carabiners (sp? - whatever they are LOL) crampons, helmet, St Bernard complete with barrel labelled XXXI am for a 10 minute challenge, going to try and clear the entrance to the room and the side of thefloor nearest the door. If I am away too long then send a search party :rotfl:Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Valli you would definately have been sending a search party. I thought I was being very clever setting my watch alarm, I got loads done and wondered why it hadn't gone off yet. Next time I set it I must remember it shows hours and minutes NOT minutes and seconds...I had set it for 10 HOURS :eek::rotfl::rotfl:
Anyway, I can get in the door, and walk along the side of the bed nearest the door. I have cleared half of the bed and put that stuff away in the rights places and then...I shut the wardrobe door REALLY quickly. I am not sorting inside things until I have somewhere to empty them to sort.
Kettle has just bolied so I will have a rest and then carry on for 10 MINUTES. Anyone want to join me :coffee:MFW 2025 No. 7 £1931.07/£2700

:hello:Hi ladies! I love having a free day! I've been a good flylady today - three loads of washing, cleaned the cloakroom, hall and living room - may not sound much, but very cluttered and dusty.
I've done three taxi runs for DS1, DS2 and DD to assorted destinations, and caught up with the thread after lunch!
DS1 went for an interview for a one week job at the Uni, counting how many students use particular areas at particular times - and he got it! I'm so pleased for him.
Okay, need to hang out another load of washing, then I'm off to do the bathroom - which is truly filthy.

I have stopped for a cup of tea, only worked on our bedroom and it looks a lot better. Need to do another half hour in a minute before child collection time. 1 black bag of rubbish, the laundry basket, 100+ books and the last two days empty tea cups have been removed, surfaces cleaned/dusted, wardrobe tidied, and the tool store/'en suite to be' sorted out.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0

Hung more washing out, made a cake, replied to some work emails and done a bit of work/research.
Off to meet DD1 later to get some shopping and must get wedding pressie sorted.

I am off to try and clear a bit more and this time my watch is definately set for minutes and not hours

Hope you've all been behaving while I've been away

I'm at OH's now - first lot of furniture has been delivered by my cousin, second lot is due to be delivered by my dad later this afternoon. OH's plane should be landing in about 5 minutes, so he'll get home for when I finish work and we can then argue about where the furniture goes
Oh well... I suppose I should do some work... Catch up with you all later.0 -
