I've had some bad news today (nothing major, just a small pothole in the path of life, but disappointing none the less :( ). DH and I need to chat about it, but it's nearly 2am where he is, so it'll have to wait :o He's texted me about it and apparently sent an e-mail but the server is down, so I can't access it. I'm slightly unsettled, so I've been to see some friends, and am going to use my nervous energy creatively :T

Um.... I've been wondering whether to say this, but I wish people wouldn't use “witch” as a derogatory term. Some of my best friends are witches, and to see it used thus is quite distressing.:o

Poohbear aww, sorry to hear about your friend, and also the old pusscat.:(

Lil_me where are you going for your Wolf Walk? I'm envious, cos I can't do those any more.

Holly sorry to hear about your uncle. If you can't be at the funeral in person, why not find out when it's to be, and light a candle for him at that time?

I need to drag my sorry carcass into town tomorrow, or at least get Mr LW to drag my sorry carcass:p, as I have an unexpected cheque to bank - £50 from one of the online survey companies!! That'll help towards the household insurance bill, for sure!:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

All meetings done this morning and it went as expected. SW now coming out to see kids on tuesday and hopefully that will be the end of it.
She did ask some of the most stupid questions. She also wants to speak to the school, gp, hv (who i haven't seen in ages) and hubby's doctor, HTT and key worker. That should keep her busy for awhile.

I'm too p**sed off to fly at the minute but maybe later. :(

DS2's teacher is worried about him because he hasn't been great health wise, complaining of sore tummy or sore head and feeling tired eventho he's been in bed early. So i need to get him seen start of the week. :(

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Loving your new sig, Valli - I have 12 new windmills near me and marvel at them every time I cycle past to work. The MP thinks they're ugly, and this (which I also see) is attractive - twerp *roll eyes smilie*

personally I WOULD put the tree and the decs in the attic. Then you will get used to NOT having them around and get them put away when you take them down after xmas. The more you clear the more you will clear because you will find the freedom from clutter liberating and energising (well, that's how I feel).

I agree :T Get rid of as much clutter, then and only then can you clean properlt (it's taken me 25 years to realise :) )

I've had some bad news today

Sorry you had bad news, PenPen. (((Hugs))) and hope you get to talk to your DH soon.

Ok, I've been home for just over an hour now, DS2 and I had snacks and drinks and I've started the WM with towels. Will have another cuppa before getting on with stuff (less than 3 hours sleep last night and what I had was interrupted by DS2 :().

The Chaos family weekend (before 10am Saturday) plans:
collect and wash laundry 2nd lot of towels in - will have to use TD as I can't rely on good weather tomorrow for DS1 to dry all washing.
[STRIKE]update budget[/STRIKE]/shop budget looking better than I thought - can do plant show if I don't go mad with shopping

    leave money for DS1
    S&S bathroom and kitchen
    HHC putting clothes away
make myself look presentable (tomorrow morning)
make tea (tonight - no idea what to have)

DH and I are off to his regimental reunion until Sunday lunch and then there's a plant fair at a big garden when we get back. I'll take DS2 if I have any money left. After that it's getting ready for Monday.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. Hugs etc for everyone and especially for toots, L-L, lamewolf and anyone else feeling below par. xxx
