I decided to do a couple of bits before logging on this morning. OH got up extra early this morning to turn the alarm off so I wouldn't have to get up, problem is once I am awake I can't get back to sleep. Got myself a cuppa and went back to bed with my book so it has probably done just as much good.

I've put the bedding in the WM as its bright and cold today
Still have a dreadful cold/virus - I look like white as a sheet and like I've been crying for days with swollen eyes. Looks like changing the bedding will be the only thing I can do today.
Have tried every medication in the cupboard to try and calm the symptoms down - no luck there and have moved onto vicks vapour run now!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Thank you everyone, what a sh!tty day I've had, but I've calmed down now. When I went back to the doctors of course they were running behind and bub was SCREAMING the place down. I was standing in the foyer trying to rock him so he didn't deafen everyone ink the waiting room when my midwife who looked after me when I was pregnant came out. All she did was ask if I was ok and I burst into tears, so she took Jake from me, took me to her office and I told her what happened. Before I'd even told her who it was she knew who I was talking about and was really angry. She tried to get Jake breastfeeding once we were home and she told me she knew he'd never be a breast feeder. She said my boobs are too big
and he'd have to work really hard and it would have been so stressful for both of us, especially as I already have a toddler and OH went back to work the day after bub and I came back from the hospital. He did get colostrum in his feeding tube. I really wish I could have breast fed him, it would have saved a lot of faff with formula, colic drops, sterilising and the damn breast pump. But anyway the midwife calmed me down, said she would "have a word" with the HV in question and told me how to complain if I want to. And she told me to carry on exactly as I was doing because Jake is perfect
The little fatty weighs 13lbs!
Anyway, thanks again everyone, this thread is a lifeline. Will get flying again tomorrow when DS1 is at school. Need to blitz LR and upstairs. Need to (ironically) sterilise bottles and feed bub before I can go to bed but I can feel my eyes closing...
Night night

I picked Ds2 up and then my Stepmum phoned to tell me my favourite Uncle had died this morning.:( My Dad was too upset to talk to us about it so she did. He lived in Canada so we won't even be able to go to the funeral.:(
Holly~~ hugs, I know what I am about to 'say' will seem odd, but in this day and age of modern technology, would it not be possible to set up a skye / msn type web cam to the funeral service, so you can all take part / watch all be it in this Country, ? Hey Flyladies,
I am so glad I found this thread. I am trying to get my head round getting the house habitable again after my washing machine died and all three floors of our house flooded. Your posts are giving me some hope of keeping the house and the mess my 5 kids make under control. Wish me luck for this afternoon when I hear how much the flood is going to cost me.I never realized how much personal info is out there that can be used and abused to suit every purpose.0 -
