Hmm, try leaving out the rice and just feeding boiled chicken. If he is sensitive to grains, and a lot of cats are, then the rice will not help at all. Cats do not need any kind of starch in the diet...meat MEAT MEAT is what they need.

thanks for the tip i did let the vet know what i was feeding him and suggested i carry on but i will try what you suggest now.

out of interest how long does it take for meals to pass through a cat? if i give only chicken from now when will i see the end result?!
