Oh dear ! Looks like the bears have no substantive response to this. Shame really...

    Not surprising.

They didn't have a substantive response to any of it when the same basic premise has been posted on multiple occasions by many posters on here.

Why should it be different now, just because a bear wrote the article?

It's clearly beyond their limited comprehension.

A bunch of good quality, well-placed new builds I've been keeping an eye on for somebody suddenly dropped their entire stock by £20k apiece yesterday.

Mind you, they were very overpriced... nigh on £400k for a nice looking, but pretty normal, house.

    Just checked:
    £340k down to £325k 4 bed detached
    £345k down to £325k 4 bed detached
    £345k down to £325k 4 bed detached
    £355k down to £333k 4 bed detached

Nice use of apostrophes there Mctittish.

What did you say last week?

"An apostrophe doesn't mean 'look out, there's an s coming'"

You are a very silly boy.

After all Hamish said and included in the post all you have got to comment upon is the apostrophe? I think you've got him on that though.

When McTittish lectures people on grammar and doesn't even know the rules himself, one has to wonder whether he can be believed when he lectures about other stuff as well.

The fact that he quoted a "bear" in his OP is immaterial.

He is a very silly boy.

If the population is going to go even further out of control there's probably no point owning property, you could go out for a walk and 14 Romanian immigrants will have set up in your house by the time you get back. Too much hassle, let a landlord deal with it.
  • Japan.

Similar land mass, over twice the population, falling house prices.

    Japan.

Property prices reached almost US$1,000,000 per square metre in some areas at peak.

    Japan.

20 years later, and after a 90% fall, Tokyo house prices are STILL more expensive than London house prices.

    Japan.

Population is falling, and has been for quite some time.

    Japan.

Is therefore totally irrelevant to the UK situation.
