The person who manages to get taken on by Boots deserves a pat on the back for the achievement! Don't know how many times I've tried to get even a temp Xmas job with them, but have have constantly been knocked back by those accursed online sift forms with their myriad questions!

is it multiple choice questions for boots, maybe your not giving the right answers

Oh, it was those behavioral questions like, "What's most like you, least like you etc." You have to rank yourself from 1 to 4 on certain hypothetical scenarios.

The country's gone to the dogs when you have to go through all these ridiculously complex questionnaires just to get an ordinary sales job!

It's a horrible way of weeding out recruits. Oh how I wish there was full employment, as employers could not afford to be so choosy then!

  • Hello I know I am probably in the wrong place, I'm new to using forums of any sort so do forgive me.

I have a xmas temp position at argos but haven't started yet, can anybody tell me when argos staff get paid and is it the same date across all stores. It's only because I have to change bill payment dates and such and trying to stay organised in the xmas holidays is challenging enough.

Oh one other thing do you have to work a month in hand.

    Thanks in advance.

Just applied and got an interview tomorrow :) I hope it isn't a mass interview for one or two positions.
