Hi,

I'm looking for a temp job with the royal mail, i've looked on their website for jobs in my area, but they don't seem to advertise any. I've checked every day for the past two weeks. I have a royal mail quite locally and it's quite a large building, i'd be really surprised if they didn't have any Christmas temp jobs going.

Should i maybe write them a letter enquiring about any vacancies?

I looked: if you go to jobs and then there is a scrolling message down the side with where the Christmas temp jobs are.

I did a search for you and the nearest job I could find was as a casual postman/women 20 miles away in Crowborough...how strange. Maybe you could contact your local mail sorting centre them directly and ask them if they are recruiting? Or maybe they are shutting down??

Had the same issue, Site reporting the nearest was 25 miles away or so for me also.
I live in in a large town (ashington) and was surprised its not listed either.
I tried calling several times today to no avail.
