    Hi!
I'd like to join you. I put on half a stone over christmas and I already wanted to lose half a stone so I'll go for losing a pound a week. I'm trying to make sure I drink my 2 litres of water a day and I'm sort of doing the weighwatchers points thing ( I joined them years ago- worked well and I remember the rules).
I had planned on doing this anyway as of this week but I'm more likely to stick to it if I'm part of a team! Good luck!

Hi. I'm "sort of doing weight watchers" too! Got the books from last time round. Finding it quite difficult avoiding chocolate, I'm starving all the time! Prob should try water too. Let us know how you get on. :j

I have a huge mountain to climb - but I will get there.
Watch this space next week for my first weeks weight loss, I hope it will be the first of many lbs off.
I would like to get some soup and pasta sauce recipes - anyone out there know about free SW soups/pasta sauce and have any good recipes????
    Good luck

    Hi Annie,
You will get there, as will we all.

SW is great - you have red/green days. Green is mostly pasta, potatoes, rice and limited meat and a red day is mostly meat with limited pasta, rice etc.
You can have certain portions of dairy and of other carbs such as bread.
I like it because I love pasta and veg. If you want more detailed info go to their website - it's full of great info or buy the magazine as that will also help. If I can help more let me know
    Good luck with everything

  • Hi all

Well done jpwhittle for losing 3lbs!

I've had a good week so far - I've had no chocolate since Sunday which is a big, big thing as I used to have around 2 bars a day. Also, no bread. I've stuck to my plan of potato & salad for lunches, protein & veg for suppers and I've done 2 exercise sessions this week so far. A colleague & I have started going for a brisk walk at lunch time, so that should help, too.

I keep wanting to weight myself, but am resisting...
