kathfisch wrote:It is tricky to know what your total is, personally I tend to take off the amount i've spent because then i'm left with the figure I've still got to spend (if you see what I mean) but for the purposes of your signature the 56p might be nicer!
Thanks have decided to take it off mainly because I checked the 3 books in ebay as soolin had mentioned and they were all red.So will give them to a charity shop instead. On a plus side have managed to get £1.86 for free this evening so I'm back on track.
Also have been looking through ebay at things that sell well using the 30day thing and I have a plan.
This is so much fun, think I might attempt this two or three times a year.Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!:starmod: Emergency Fund Savings - #148 - £10/£1000 1% :starmod::xmastree:#083 SPC6 £63 - SPC7 £90 - SPC8 £63 - SPC9 £54 - SPC10 £26 - SPC12 £70 :xmastree:0 -

Try loooking on Amazon and Greenmetropolis first, sometimes Amazon will be good even where ebay is non starter (and vice versa).

Hi Guys!
Right I have my first lot of money, sold a book on Amazon which was a Christmas present from an ex... thing is I am confusing myself... a question!
I got a coin from my gran today, I had already checked eBay ages ago and they go for about £30... do I just add this to my total once I've sold?
Also my Dad gave me a really good bluetooth headset to sell on eBay, likely to get £50 for that...
The question really... is if I just sell stuff which I didn't buy in the first place, do I just add this to my total each week? I don't have to use money from what the original £1 made to double my money?
I hope that makes sense! :rotfl:0 -
Miss Muppet
Once your coin has sold just add it to your total
You don't just have to use the money from the original sale to spend on things to sell
anything so long as it didn't cost you anything then its ok to add to the total.
if that makes sense!Debt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO0 -
Ahhh right, so if I manage to sell stuff I didn't pay for to start with all that can be added to my total? I can also buy stuff in charity shops with the money I've made and try and sell for a profit?
Better get thinking of some more ways to make money I think... selling things is the only thing I can think of at the moment!0 -
that is correct Miss Muppet
I'm not matched betting my way to the total, unlike some people are doing.
I don't feel comfortable doing it as i have an addictive personality (where a fifth of my debt came from) and it is too much of a temptation to actually put money in the sites (which i know sounds wierd considering comments i made in the thread)
so i'll need to find another way of getting there
maybe begging or robbing a bank !Debt of £6300 cleared in 5 years, now ZERO0 -

Its fab that you recognise that though and don't put yourself in that position!
You seem to have a talent for ebay so you don't need matched betting! :TDon't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now...
