  • I sold a bunch of items on ebay (including 1 freebie) but almost all of my earnings went on Ebay fees. I listed a LOT of auctions and most didn't get bids or sell.

The free item I sold for 99p. Ebay fees were around 15 sterling in total (although I have another 9 auctions on now). So.. not a whole lot of luck with ebay this time round.

  • Have a coat my mum gave me already being watched by 5 people on e-bay and some or her books on sale this week (must ask her for the signed ones) - also a 1st edition Justin Timberlake biography but no bidders yet. I bought it thinking people would get it for Christmas but no go yet. I will have to give it away if it doesn't sell this time - back to the charity shop cycle!

The 3 x £5 vouchers are all already being watched...

I bought a beautiful copy of Little Women a couple weeks ago which I thought may go for a lot but did not...

What is the most anyone has spent on an item they thought was great but didn't sell? What is the least you spent on something that you doubted would go for much that DID sell for alot?

I won't bet my money... I won't bet my money... at lunch will look about charity shops again - wish I had more time!

  • None of my ebay listings are generating any interest:mad:

I have a load of stuff to put up but feeling a little dishearten.

I did get £2.49 for a book someone gave me today through amazon & £15 for a flute lesson so that's another £17.49 for the pot. I was hoping to get by the £150 by the end of this week though!
