  • Ooo i love a challenge - bit late on this one aren't i?
Can i give it a go with you all too?

I have been given loads of baby clothes and my little one is just growing out of them so that might be a good start - some lovely Gap and OshKosh bits. I could never afford to buy her brands like Gap so maybe someone will class it as a bargain.

I am desperately trying to make some funds so i can go to china in May - My brother moved out there about six years ago and i really miss him and want to see him so i have a motive.

I can't play anymore, and will have to drop out didn't get any further than £20, pretty useless I am. Just not enough hours in the day.
    Good Luck to everyone though.

    Welcome Ellie-belle!!

Frugal Jo - Are you sure? You've got nothing to lose even if you just spend half an hour a week in a charity shop and then half an hour popping the stuff on ebay? At least you would still be making FREE money. I go round the charity shop with a pen and paper and write down everything that I think looks expensive. Then I look them up on ebay and see if they're worth buying.

Hope this helps and that everyone has a good day,

    Luv Jxxx

Received my 3 x £5 vouchers from Euroffice so will be listing them tonight. I got HMV, Boots and Next so should be popular for the Xmas shopping/pressies.

Am considering betting £10 or £20 of my funds on Bingo - anyone tried this for this challenge?

  • I won on notw bingo, but that was a free bet. I've googled 'free bingo bet'- (think someone else mentioned that too). I've been on 1 other site with a free bet but never won. Don't know how risky they are but I'm too tight to lose my own money! I'll keep on trying with the free bingo and if I don't win I haven't lost anything either...
Money coming in from Sundays ebay selling so can update sig soon...listing day tomorrow for me, but I'm running out of donated stuff to sell! It's going to get tough soon!

I know... but I am tempted to bet £10 and see. I can't see any other way right now of significantly increasing my money :o I have not found much in the shops that seems worth buying - still, have listed some items on E-bay tonight so we will see.

How many times will folks list something before giving up if it hasn't sold? Right now I'm listing an item 2-3 times if it doesn't sell initially then giving up and will prob have to give stuff to charity shop...

Benedictadams - I'll be doing the challenge in 'hobby' aspect only - could not handle more working hours, mind you, with the cold now it would certainly keep me warm!

EagerLearner - have you looked at matched betting? I couldn't remember if you didn't want to do it for some reason, but with the total you have you could gradually increase your total without problem. There's lots of help for newbies on the relevant threads too!
