Well my total's looking a bit healthier today, added £40 quidco money earned on my parents' car insurance. They did have to pay for the insurance, I know, but they gave me the £40 as a gift for showing them quidco so I decided that counts!! :T
Also been doing a bit of matched betting today so when my free bet is credited and a match is found I should be another £48 or so up! :TDon't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Wow, whata great challenge to have. In all fairness this sum of money should be quite easy to attain. Money is all about mindset. Adopt the right mindset and you will nodoubt succeed.
Usually people in this situation wouldn't even set a goal. And 95% of all people who sets a goal or goals usually completes them! As aposed to the other 95% of people who don't set goals and will never achieve them! Hope that makes sense.
Hope you get what your after.0 -

Hi kathfisch
How are you doing MB exactly, please?
I opened accounts with Coral and Betfair.
Coral promised a free £10, but it did not appear on my account for some reason (meanwhile, I wasted my initial £10 on bingo..)
Do you look for football matches?
And one more thing: how do you 'switch' Coral to show you odds in decimal points, please?
I hope I did not ask to many questions...

Hi SoScrooge!!
There is tons of info on Matched Betting on the gambling introductory loopholes board, I'm only just getting started with it really.
With Coral you'd need to deposit some money and place a bet with it (you saw an offer for £10, there are some up to £50!). What you do is 'match' this at betfair so that you lose as little as possible, whatever the outcome. Then the free bet should be credited and you do the same again... bet with it and match the bet at betfair. You need to use the spreadsheets and helpful people on the newbie thread though until you're sure!
I usually bet on football but I have done a special offer one on a darts match too.
In Coral there should be a small sqaure button with EU on it, towards the top of the screen. Clicking that should get you decimal odds I think.
Hope that helps!!

I musht be really dumb! I don't understand a monkey on these sites. They all seem to be displaying bets on different matches, etc.0 -

It is tricky! I started with just one bookie and betfair. I found a football match on the bookie and then found the same one at betfair, then I could compare the odds and play around putting the numbers into the matcher spreadsheet.
Just be sure you're clear with it all before you do any more sign ups or else you could be risking the pennies, free bets are usually for new sign ups only so you want to be sure before you commit.
Have a read of the Matched Betting Newbie thread - there are some very helpful people over there. :TDon't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Soscrooge - I would recomend that you read this http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=512&highlight=matched+betting+newbie and then read at least 5 pages of and post all your questions on http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=250527&highlight=matched+betting+newbie
I have not made any cash but have invested in a Sheffield Silver spoon set for a fiver which should be worth about 60 on e-bay and also a suit for 7.50 which should get 30 (fingers crossed whilst typing!!) - charity shop bargains - I love them - wish I had more time (then maybe I wouldn't find myself posting here with loads of things I still want to do when I should be snoring!!)
I've got 2 watchers on one of the e-bay items too!!
Happy Halloween everyone!!
