I have a growing "pile" stashed under the stairs:D
I got the pringles special from MrS the other week, B1G2F, we ate the one we bought, and stashed the two others. Also from there are 4 choc oranges, from when they were B1G1F (we love them and don't buy any other chocs for Christmas). I got the Taste the Difference pudding as it was save a third, two packs of 10 cokes for £3 each this week. Frozen puff pastry was £1 instead of £1.75, so I shoved 2 in the freezer for the sausage rolls, got whoopsied streaky bacon for the pigs in blankets and a jar of yummy scrummy caramelised onion chutney while it was save a third as well.
And the best bit of all?
It was FREE! I have been spending my nectar points on the christmas bits.:D:D:D0 -
we just grabbed 4 boxes of hardys at lidls this week. 2 bottles for £7 is a bargain!!0

We're going out for lunch but then we have everyone (12 people) back to us for the evening. I'm not going to do tons of food though as we were left with so much last time. I'm going to buy and freeze the 3 bird roast from Tesco next payday to be served hot, some cold ham a couple of days before and cook up some mash and vegetables the night before to do bubble and squeak with lots of different pickles. MIL is bringing trifle for pudding.
I'll buy a tin of sweets and satsumas (it wouldn't be Christmas without satsumas!) closer to the time as we've eaten one tin already

Anyone else have a partner who has started eating the christmas stock?

Yep - first Christmas I'll be cooking for my extended family so I thought I'd better get and early start!
Got an amazing desert recipe I've been dying to try and is cheap and cheerful http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/23831/pavlova+with+mulled+fruits and have my meat on order from an online supplier I found a few months ago http://www.westingourmet.co.uk/christmas-meat-hampers/
The only thing I'm missing is the veggies and I'll be nipping down the market for those so they're fresh - oh and alcohol of course, but Bargain Booze have their usual £9.99 offer on spirits so we should be alright.

I am certainly stocking up, and very excited! I usually wait a while before stocking up, I usually buy everything in late november, early december.. So I'm a good few weeks ahead of my ususall self, hey, maybe next year I'll start even sooner! I hope. Time does fly though, thanks for the suggestion, I love Sainsburys. I might have to go there soon and stock up on some gammon myself.0
