Thanks cardinalbiggles.
I would actually love to be there when the bailiffs turn up!! I feel they have messed me around so much, seeing some justice being delivered would certainly be satisfying!!!0 -
Please ignore - comment was no longer relevant"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

The default judgement should be in your favour. There will probably be a further hearing to set the damages. They will be notified. As the court really gets annoyed when firms act like that, damages are likely to be everything you asked for.
Some years ago, I sued a very large national company for £400. They simply threw correspondence from the court in the bin. They weren't laughing when the default judgement notice arrived ..."Never underestimate the mindless force of a government bureaucracyseeking to expand its power, dominion and budget"Jay Stanley, American Civil Liberties Union.0 -
The default judgement did go my way, and of course they ignored that... so I have requested a warrant of execution, the bailiffs are on their way!!
Anyone know approximately how long this process takes? I understand they have to go in, get the property, then sell it off at auction, then give me my money. What has anyone else experienced? I expect a few months at least?0 -
The company I took to court have closed down.
I'm guessing thats about all I can do... but if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated0 -
Do you know if the company went Bankrupt, because I think you have go via person in charge of Bankruptcy order.
If they just closed because they couldn't afford to run it (or couldn't be bothered) anymore, I think you have take through the court again to get them to enforce the judgement.
Sorry I know it's a late reply and I hope you have got it sorted already.0 -

I can't find out anything about what happened to them, no contact for where they have gone and I can't find a record for them at companies house so I don't know who or where to get the judgement enforced. I feel I have reached a dead end.0 -
Well i'd personally recommend you going back to the court and getting them to sort it out.0

No I'm afraid I don't. My next step would be to contact them if all other options have been exhausted0
