I also use washable sanitary pads, much more comfortable than disposable.0

Hmmm...weird thread of the day. If you want to save money on a 20/30p roll of toilet paper that takes 1 week per person to get through. That's according to scientific research. Then use a sponge and wash it when washing your hands.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Hmm, I didn't know there was VAT on toilet paper. Perhaps the government doesn't see it as an essential? I wonder if someone with more energy than me should start a petition to get it removed from loo roll, especially as VAT is going up in January!Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle......hmm, maybe those last two won't work with toilet paper :rotfl:
Have tried the 'squash it' but it didn't work and hearing the roll clonk at every turn is so annoying.
I have threatened my lot that if they use too much, they will have to buy the next batch and at roughly 50p a roll, it's not cheap and this does seem to have had some effect.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Can I ask where you get them from? I've just had a baby and for some reason the plasticky-ness of disposables isn't agreeing with me atm
