Mine is about 120watts - so the equivalent of about 2 x 60 watt light bulbs
They do get quite hot but on a worktop, making sure nothing that might melt is touching them, they are fine left all day - ours is often on for 10+ hours or sometimes overnightworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -

Many people do and have no problems. They are designed to be left unattended for hours.0 -

I love mine from autumn onwards.
Come home from work to pipping hot stews, currys, soups what ever I choose to bung in it.
I make my stock from chicken bones in it too - left over night.
sits in the cupboard most of the summer though, but could be used all year I'm sure with a bit of imagination.0 -

Asda was selling a smallish one for 7quid last week. that's a lot cheaper than argos circa 35, or wait till jan sales and get one for 20sih. though i'd get the asda one if i needed another. mine is sitting downstairs bubbling away nicely right now...
