I cooked a leg of lamb in the slow cooker on Sunday. I added a roughly chopped carrot and a little water. I cooked it on low for approximately 7-8 hours. When cooked I lifted out the leg, transferred the stock to a saucepan added some gravy granules am it was THE most delicious lamb and gravy I have ever had, so much so I kept the remaining gravy and have frozen it!!! Good luck op

I did it overnight, wrapped in foil, in the oven on roughly 120 and it was lovely. I'll do it in the slow cooker next time though as that gravy sounds delish krustylouise0

Not a question about slow cookers, but the slow cooker index thread - this one: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=490232&postcount=9
Where it says 'Beef recipes are collected here:' or 'chicken recipes collected here:' there is nothing for me to click on - no clickable links or buttons or anything, so I can't actually access any of those recipes.
anyone know why this is please? Its driving me mad!0 -

Also thank you for asking your question as I did not know about the recipe collection and I have used my slow cooker a lot of late so it will be really handy.
Hope you also get it sorted.0 -
I'm on a laptop but I have to click on the same box/square at the end of the line which says Beef recipes here.
I'm not sure if its right though, as I clicked through to the list then clicked on 'Brisket' as that is what I cook. But only got one post which appeared to be half way through a threadLike coming in half way through a conversation.
Edited to add, I think you can access the list from within the Grocery Challenge thread at the top of this page as well.0 -
Thanks guys. I know there should be a box, but it doesn't appear on my screen
i'm guessing one of my adblockers stops it showing
Linda32, thanks for the alternative method0
