I have finally stopped daily reading and occasional posting here, writing lists etc and have actually done something instead!
I can now reach the water stopcocks in case I need to turn them off this winter
I have 3, one in the bathroom cupboard, 1 in the kitchen tupperware/where you stuff stuff you dont know where else to put cupboard and the hall cupboard with diy tools and assorted carp.
Only fifty thousand other things to do but its a start0 -
i have 2 brown fleeces i think are asda smartprice ones that i might roll up and turn into impromptu draught excluders....0

I've just had a VERY catalogue though & it has flannalettes at BOGOF!!!!!0

What a fab idea - I hadn't thought of that - does it not deteriorate once diluted though? I think with baby bottles you have to replace the solution every 24 hours.....
With the baby bottles the issue is a little more critical, somehow I don't think my loo minds so much.
It is just hypochlorite solution, and as far as I know is not prone to deterioration. It can be used to keep water fresh, so I don't thinlk it's likely to go off.
Just checked, the storage life of the diluted solution is 10 weeks, so I'll mark the expiry on the bottle with a sharpie, thanks for raising that Frugal.0 -

wow they're STILL running that offer? anyone still wanting them i'd say go for it!
i bought a set in hmm think it was july the offwhite ones with blue print, really nice, planning to put them on the bed soon... they seemed sorta, medium quality but i only paid just over a fiver for two double sheets so i'm fairly certain they're worth at least that!0 -

My landlord has confirmed that a gas inspector will be round on Wednesday so at least my central heating system will be checked.
So debating a heated throw, hmmm.
My neighbour must have his heating on as my livingroom is nice and warm.0 -

Just got done shampooing the living room carpets. I had spot cleaned them after the dogs had their upset tummies, but as it was during the work week, I had to wait 'til the weekend to get the machine out and do them properly. I used the "pet formula" carpet shampoo, very hot tap water and a scoop of powdered oxygen cleaner each time I refilled the cleaning solution jug. Hopefully that will disinfect as well as clean and deodorize.
So I guess thats one Fall cleaning item off my list. Yay!0 -

The flatshare sounds good for you. Less bills are always good and the company is nice too.0
