The -3-1 is the average temp for the month. You wont have been at -12-14 as the average for the month. Maybe on a night it dropped to that but then you factor in day time temps. If you found my post helpful, please remember to press the THANKS button! --->0 -
Good morning all.
I was stitching together two of those silver car windscreen sunshades from Poundland last night to make an insulating carpet for my tent and was astonished at how very warm they were, stretched over my legs as I worked.
Which made me think that the could do duty as liners of a blind/ underlay for a rug/ anything that needs something thin and draughtproof, really.
HTH.
PS It was pretty chilly around my neck of the woods yesterday evening, too, the rain brought some chilly weather with it. Plus I have been evicting earwigs from the flat; think they have decided to move in to winter quarters.;)Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Today's job is lifting all the cardigans & jumpers down from the top of the wardrobes.
I want to check for any loose buttons etc & give them a good wash.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0 -
Just had an email from Amazon - lots of their walking boots are reduced, including some wellies. Just ordered a pair of lightweight walking shoes as I live in them most of the year.& as for some happy ending I'd rather stay single & thin

Not doing any winter preps so to speak this week. However i have been going through every storage space and room and getting rid of any clutter etc, nine bags so far and still got to do two more bedrooms, bathroom, toilet and two big cupboards. My house is often referred to as always tidy and clean, but little did they know the cupboards where bursting at the seems where i shoved everything away! I'm hoping freeing up all this space will help me find any bits i need and once i have done a deep clean i can focus on the winter jobs such as clearing guttering without being overwhelmed by mess or clutter. Plus once xmas comes i usually have no space to store the extra food or gifts but hoping after this big clean through i will do.Mummy of a beautiful little boy and fanatical about christmas
