  • Just went to put the winter duvet on the bed to discover its a double and all my bedding is king size now :( So now I need to either find a good price 13.5 tog king size or a cheap 4.5 tog to add to my summer - worried that might make it to hot if there is such a thing :rotfl:Anyone seen any bargains for either of these?

For those of you stocking up on candles, where did you buy them? I was thinking of Tesco, I think they do them cheaply?

I've got a few types of candle from Ikea and they don't seem to burn well. The tea lights and bigger candles in metal cups leave a lot of wax behind and the flame was very small. Am wondering if I stored them wrongly or something since they both had the same problem.
Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far! :)
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!

Would it not be easier and cheaper to buy a bedset for the double and use it as an extra cover over yoiur summer duvet?

I would but we fight over the king size duvet god knows what we would be like going back to a double  and I hate being cold :(
  • I meant just put it over the top of the existing duvet, like a throw or blanket ;)

  • From memory Ikea and Asda are also quite good on prices for duvets.

Cannot believe how dark it is here, and it's only coming up to a quarter to 8. I'm eyeing up a freshly washed fleece blanket that may be wrapped around me in a tick!

    Keep warm everyone.
