It's not fair, we only have one supplier each for electricity, gas and landline telephone. There are about three oil suppliers, but their prices are all the same.0 -
Hello all,
I'm another long time lurker on the OS board; have been reading all the threads with interest and getting loads of good tips and advice. Its taken me this long to (almost) catch up and start thinking about Winter.
For the past couple of years we have been snowed in for a few days and unable to go anywhere. Nearest town is 20 mins car drive away but there's no way I'd chance going when its snowing as there's a very real threat of getting snowed out.
I'm going into Wilkos today to stock up on dog food; am also going to buy some flea treatment for dogs and cats for Winter-another thing to not have to worry about if/when we're snowed in.
Thanks to everyone for all the good advice!"The first time I see a jogger smiling I'll consider it."Joan Rivers0 -
JML magic carpets have third off at Tesco direct at the moment, cheapest I can find.
I loved these in the winter for us coming in from the snow and wet

But I want my lamps to be happy :rotfl: no seriously, thank you. I really hope they will make a difference this year. When we first moved to Scotland and got 'proper' snow it was lovely, but that soon wears off."A strong man stands up for himself, a stronger man stands up for others" Barnyard the children's film.
