    If you are travelling you may want to have a look at some of the live webcams from the area you are visiting.

    Just click on the county, load map, then one of the cameras on the route.

    Manchester doesn't look too clever tonight, glad I'm not travelling up there.

    Oh No. If I could I would get you some milk. My Mom had both her hips replaced and had spondolitis. She was terrified of snow and ice.

    I hope someone can help you and get some essentials in for you xxx

    This year is the first time since my Mom died that I feel like really celebrating Christmas so haven't really bought cards etc for years (Mom died 13 Dec 2005). Its been a chore rather than exciting. But I tried hard for my kids no body else mattered. I went into myself and found it hard to get out for a couple of years after her death as she was my best friend and I still miss her daily.

    I am hoping to be even better next year and get v organised and have lots of time to celebrate.

    I had fancy legs on the kitchen units in my last place and no plinths - it looked great but it was very draughty ;)

    we have more snow here, thank goodness for the weather warnings last week as I was able to stock up on milk and meds;

    keep safe all ;)

    Safe journey Confuzzled, have a lovely Christmas we'll miss you. Kittie, I hope you aren't properly snowed in yet, just a couple of days out would make a difference wouldn't it? :grouphug:
    Kitchen designs: I posted a thread asking 'What do you regret buying for your home?' Some very useful information emerged. You might like to take a look and maybe post about those plinths? Thanks:)
