Still got all the windows wide open though and the thermostat is reading 15C so I'm just layering up. I'm hoping that this will help with the condensation problem I'm having ATM. EVERY window in the house is dripping in the mornings. I can't wait until I have time next week to put up the extra glazing film as its currently buried at the back of the understairs cupboard behind a pile of stuff for freecycle :o

Does the extra glazing film stop you getting condensation?

Our front bay window isn't double glazed and the glass is dripping in the mornings.

council put double glazing in in feb this year so it will be our first winter with it was hoping it would keep house warmer and no condensation i can wish woke up to condensation on bedroom window and bathroom one they are both the coldest rooms in the house even in summer. I was told when double glazing went in it would stop the condensation problem athough it's not as bad as last year does anyone have any ideas? our council don't seem interested about it my daughters got single panes( big ones and damp and condensation) she got them out and all they could say was too much activity in the rooms well i can't tell you what her reply was but i think you can guess ********* etc .

it's colder today only 10c outside and 19c inside would be warmer but there is a draught driving me bonkers can't plug it cos can't find it it's in kitchen the only place i can think of is a hole behind a cupboard somehow i'm hoping the idea of pillow up chimney idea will fix it no i'm not loosin it we have a cupboard council put in front of a vent but when cupboard was changed bleeding big hole no vent cover and i'm thinking cos it's low down if i stuff it the top vent will still work near ceilling but by stuffing bottom one might stop all me tinned stuff rusting like last 20 winters oh well i can try hope it will warm kitchen too right i'm off to do curtains and cheats draught excluders that will do for now my head not too good today think i might of jinksed it hope not lots to do before saturday be back when they're done might be a while

    Too much activity they say?

What a load of rubbish.

Our windows are ok when we go to bed and the room is empty, so where is the activity to start the condensation that we have there in the morning.?

we have double glazing but still get condenstation, esp if it gets really cold and I close the vents totally :(
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx

Got the last piece of my winter car kit today, a plastic ice scraper/squeegee/sponge combo!

Been trying to find one for the last couple of weeks, none in poundshop, on market or various large supermarkets. Quite surprised as it won't be long till the first frosty-windscreened mornings, plenty of de-icer on sale but no scrapers.

Got it from a hardware shop in the end.
