Go here http://www.vacationstogo.com/ticker.cfm and select either Northern Europe or Baltic, and quickly get a feel for the cruiselines that do that part of the world, and the routes they do.....and the prices!!!

For UK cruisers this forum is a better start than cruise critic.

    https://www.cruise.co.uk/forum/

There is quite a bit of none cruise stuff but you can ignore that.

For the record it is owned by a UK Travel company but they don't push the commercial hard line like cruise critic does(just no links)

THere are some other cruise forums aimed more at the UK so worth a google.

  • Trying to book a wine package with royal Caribbean for our cruise next week .... Can anyone help me can't seem to find it on the royal Caribbean web site also is there any sites tell you if you can do the ports yourself as in walking off the ship and getting around yourself as opposed to booking trips with rcci ?

Info about drinks package near the bottom of this page:
    http://www.royalcaribbean.co.uk/why-cruise/onboard-experience/dazzling-entertainment/drinks/

    ETA
If you go to the main web page:
    http://www.royalcaribbean.co.uk/

And look at the bottom of the page you'll see a section called "Already booked".
One of the options is "Book cruise add-ons" - you can book drinks packages there.

I went with Princess Cruises on the Island Princess for 12 nights around the Med in October this year and absolutely loved it! The food and entertainment was fantastic as were the ports of call.

We booked through Cruise Nation during the sale and managed to get 2 x balcony cabins of BE grade for £70 pppn

    HTH xx
    £2 Savers Club #156! :)
Looking for holiday ideas for 2016. Currently, Isle of Skye in March, Riga in May, Crete in June and Lake District in October. August cruise cancelled, but Baby due September 2016! :j
