that's amazing. Cunard doesn't usually offer much of a deal for singles. Was this TA or direct? I get sent all Cunards offers but not had this.:(Living on Earth can be expensive, but it does include an annual free trip around the Sun.0 -

Prices are good because you will need a sick bag sailing the Biscay this time of the year. Suggest only harden cruisers take up this offer otherwise you maybe turn-off cruising for life !0 -
We did the Canaries last November from Malaga and it was near the coast of Morrocco that almost everyone onboard, including staff were sick. We have cruised a lot but I felt disorientated and dizzy walking around and sick when I lay down.0

I think so, if you were sailing with P&O for example I think they have the 18 rule, as would Cunard. Have to say I am not 100% sure though.
QUOTE]
It is not the cruiseline rules but the Law of the area they sail. For example P&O has a age limit of 18 in UK and European waters but change to 21 when sailing in US /Caribbean waters.0 -
Just a heads up, particularly for solo cruisers. Azura on 29 Nov and 30 Nov from LGW and MAN are coming up with no sole sup so 14 nights Caribbean with flights is £999 for a balcony.0

Just had an email from P&O, cruise from Southampton and back 11days 399. + either 50 spend, or parking, or coach transfer, going to Spain, Morocco, Spain, Gibraltar Portugal. Wish I could go but wife is anti cruising0

Cabin was great picked one of the larger insides very handy for all the late night entertainment.
Ship is smaller easy to get around and probably has the most diverse passenger mix at sea, over 60 on some of the runs during the summer.
the Asian influence in the design is a pleasant change from the current offerings.
A lot is standard ncl food, entertainment etc. with a few tweeks for the international pax mix, loved breakfast available to 12:00
turns out the cheapest rates with flights were ncl packages some missed a bargain.
now the search is on for Nov and xmas
And for £220 for a solo cruiser, I booked this this morning for travel tomorrow!!! Got a large family inside cabin for one. Sleazyjet flights another £100. Bargain.illegitimi non carborundum0 -

Well, I must say that the NCL Spirit exceeded my expectations. Certainly the boat was fine, however the only downside was the food.....it was cold more times than it was hot, except for the speciality restaurants.
And to make it even better, my winnings on the poker table ($2-$5 starting around 11pm) exceeded the cost of the cruise!!!illegitimi non carborundum0 -

Nice one, we were suprised how much we liked the Spirit, Jade next week for Xmas.
We did do the Celebrity Silhouette a couple of weeks ago and that was very good, allthough it does cost more forthe base cabins moving upto Aqua I think we got as good if not better value for money as the NCL trips.
General point for everyone reading
There are loads of deals out there so not really worth posting any unless they are sooper sooper good, we will be backing off now till the spring unless I spot something that is a no brainer, getting a bit cruised out.0
