Not worth it ...its possibly the worst ship I have ever been on I have always loved NCL but that ship should be scrapped
I've never been on NCL. Why do you say the ship should be scrapped?

Spirit is an old ship. Type of ship Thomson will buy up as with ncl majesty. Surely ncl will bin the older ships in their fleet when both the breakaway and getaway are in service, and with two more breakaway class ships on order or on option, I would expect all pre-jewel class ships to be retired.

back from the ncl spirit great ship, yes older and a few area that need a bit of work mostly around the pool.
Cabin was great picked one of the larger insides very handy for all the late night entertainment.
Ship is smaller easy to get around and probably has the most diverse passenger mix at sea, over 60 on some of the runs during the summer.

the Asian influence in the design is a pleasant change from the current offerings.

A lot is standard ncl food, entertainment etc. with a few tweeks for the international pax mix, loved breakfast available to 12:00

turns out the cheapest rates with flights were ncl packages some missed a bargain.

now the search is on for Nov and xmas

Apologies if this is not the right thread to post on, I actually don't have a deal to share but need help finding one. I have a certain itinerary in mind that I am tempted to book but it seems that I've missed the bargains. I would like to ask any cruise wizards on here that have mastered cruise price search and comparison to point me in the right direction.
I am looking at MSC Armonia at the end of November, possibly to book for 14 nights. I like the itinerary and that kids go free. First time I saw a deal on Iglu Cruise that included flights and hotel stay I think. Now this offer has slightly changed and is available for 779pp, which is a bit much. A week or so ago the itinerary was available cruise only on Viva Voyage for 404pp, I hesitated and now this is also gone up by more than 100pp. I have looked at various sites but the slight variations on dates, length and what's included in the package give me headache :o I can't work out what is best value and it seems that often the latest price is available over the phone.
If anyone can point me to a website / agent where this cruise is available at a good price, I'll be very grateful. And any tips for booking it highly appreciated, I've only booked twice before directly on ncl.co.uk. None of this 'phone for a quote' nonsense :D

For the cruise itself, the agents haven't really beaten the MSC direct price for the past couple of years. I would give MSC a ring. Packages with flight & hotel are different as the agents often build these themselves.

I was just looking at this same one! Unfortunately kids come up as full price :( Do I get it right that the cruise starts and ends at different ports and it stays 2 days in Istanbul? What are Celebrity cruises like for families with small children?
