Just back on-line after Breakaway TA working on a review to post when we return to the UK.

Just to follow up on the above issues we booked a couple of trips with BestPrice cruises on-line, they cut their margins to the bone and try to get back in other ways, when we wanted to amend the booking they were charging a lot more than NCL change cost for the cabin upgrade as we had acces to the upgrade costs and the new booking prices, we sorted that by doing it via the cruise line and just paying via BPC.

Also recently NCL pulled out of cruise compete because some agents we doing dodgy deals, we know we got one, credit to NCL they honoured the deals.


Anyway having been away for a week lost track of the ex uk princess/Celebrity/other deals for May June, anyone got an summary?

Just a bit of an update. I emailed Celebrity UK asking for an email address for Celebrity US simply because when you input Celebrity.com it immediately changes it to Celebrity.co.uk. They gave me the captains club email address and before explaining my circumstances I just said I had as issue with the Travel Agent (BPC) and could they give me customer services email address.
Email acknowledged and would be attended to within 72 hours.
I have just had a telephone call from Celebrity in the US (Candy) who was interested in hearing of the issue!!!
They truly cannot believe what has happened and are arranging for the original OBC to go onto my Debit Card immediately.
Oh yes and incidentally, BPC did get their commission. What liars they have turned out to be.
Our last email to BPC, as yet, remains un-answered - I wonder why?

BTW....where are all the med deals? As posted previously I have looked in all the usual haunts and nothing well I say nothing as I don't count planet cruise deals as real deal more as deals they advertise to then try and sell you something 3 times dearer....oh dear they really are from another planet with their phoney deals lol

Go to Vacationstogo website and just click on 'Cruise Newsletter' you will see many current bargins, many are for the Med.

thanks traveller boy...I usually check there almost every day. Th only good med deal leaves in the next day or 2 with royal carribean for about £200 + taxes.

last year I got a royal carribean deal for £222 including taxes and with the flights it cost me only £400 total for my tailor made fly cruise at the end of may!

this year the flights seem too expensive becasue of half term and the cruise lines are not dropping their prices like they used to....I have a hunch that the cruise lines are going to be caught with their pants down lol.

Maybe some decent deals in the next few days? If I see any I will of course post em here.

Royal caribbean(UK site) have Legend 3 June for £288 7nights might be enough time time to get flights.

I always check the actual cruise line rates/availability to see if it matches any TA deal.

Some deals are released only through TA(princess have some ATM) but if the cruise line has the same/similar price and/or availability there is a better chance the deal is available.
