Have a great cruise.
Yep and we got there in the end, hopefully, will keep a close eye to make sure all offers and promises come to fruition.0 -

We too have used USA Travel Agents often. We have just returned from the Eclipse Transatlantic (one of our best ever cruises) but unfortunately didn't get the OBC advertised:(. When it didn't appear on our account we queried it with Guest Relations who assured us that all the OBC had been applied. We then emailed the US Agent who politely told us it does not apply to anyone other than US & Canadian citizens. We replied very politely and only yesterday evening have had another email saying they hope we are enjoying our cruise (we were already home) and stating they don't get any commission from cruiselines for international customers!!!!!! So yeh, they do the business out of the goodness of their hearts - pull the other one. You wouldn't like to see the reply which is in its final stages of composure. So, all I am saying is be careful and double check what they are really offering.0 -

That is awful, I have an email from our US TA which confirms that the OBC our agent and Celebrity offers and the 123 package is applicable regardless of where you are located. My invoice clearly shows my UK address too.
I am going to double check again though.
ETA name and shame the agent on here and on CC.0 -

Well, thanks for the reply and I think you are doing the right thing by double checking. I have to say Celebrity were also really shocked at the response as actually its racist. They (BestPriceCruises) are really trying to claw their way out of this one. Celebrity were also shocked at the response and acted magnificently in trying to rectify the 'damage'.
However, I have decided that my next email to BPC will be my last, the cruise is over and any rectification on their behalf would be futile. Whilst I have named them on here, Cruise Critic is another matter and I don't think it would be allowed but yes I would love to. Sally0 -
I have just double checked and my TA has now sent me the guest copy of the Celebrity booking and the 123 offers are all on there!
I really would push this though as if they are saying that the Celebrity offers didn't apply because you were not located in the US this is blatantly untrue as I and others have received them. If you paid by CC I would contact them and see what they have to say.
Here is the email received from my TA:
Hi:
I just had a conversation with Celebrity and the 123 offer does apply to everyone, there are no exceptions for non US customers. When the offer was provided to travel agents, there were no exceptions shown on it either. It is up to the travel agent to have the 123 offers applied, so perhaps those that are missing them are because their travel agent did not do what was necessary for their customers to get them and are using the non-US residents as an excuse.
I have requested a copy of the guest confirmation which I will review to see if the offer is listed on it. I can see all the offers have been posted to your account when I look at your on-line booking and Celebrity confirmed it with me.
Hope this helps ease your concerns.
Best regards,
Karen

Thanks again. I know 'offers' on US web sites apply because in the past I have had them whether it was some OBC or a voucher for the speciality restaurant, it always has appeared until this time. At first, I thought it could just be a changed rule but I know they are telling lies to try and cover themselves along with 'they don't receive commission from selling to 'international' customers beggars belief. It ain't over til the fat lady sings so to speak!!!! Sally0

Karen has sent me my guest booking confirmation too. Everything is detailed on there except the TA obc which is normal, it should just show on my account onboard.
Is this the code for the drinks package 'AI CEL CLAL' ?
I can see my celebrity obc and stated excursions too - woohoo :T0 -

That's awful please do say who it was so that we can all make sure we don't give them any business. (I can see that you have now)
Also leave reviews wherever you can.
I hope the cruise line punish them too, its not good for them either.0
