Of course you can join wealthy woman :D The more the merrier. Sorry to hear you were scammed - sounds horrid, but well done for achieving your lightbulb moment. Looks like you have some high goals to achieve there - Good Luck with them and definitely keep us posted. I reclaimed my bank charges and it's a great feeling - just getting hubby to do it now on his business account - can't wait for that one

Well done for getting through your probation on your job too! I've just been told my probation period has finished on my new job too :D It's onwards and upwards (well, downwards for the debt) from here :)

Take care, and keep us updated.

Good news on getting through the probationary period - why is it that they use a word associated with criminals

Good news too on the bank charges - I am awaiting court, and have been adjourned now until the end of August. I don't have a good feeling about it at the moment, so am not relying on it in any way. It would be nice though - £4k off my debt would be very useful indeed!

Have just cleared the barclaycard in full well chuffed that I have cleared over £1800 this month. This will become increasing difficult though over the next few months as I start maternity leave on the 22nd June.
However I am only off for 3 months at the moment I am signed up to ms sites and I may even score some car boot sales and readvertise some of the stuff for a profit... Do you think that'll work? I reclaimed bank charges but there wasn't much to claim (£530) also claimed £55 back from mortgage exit fees which has helped with clearing some of the debt this month.
Is it sad that I can't wait till payday to clear off my debts rather than wanting to get paid for other reasons?

    HI wealthy woman

I think the only way to change your name is to email the site administrators and ask them to do it for you.

Good luck and I look forward to following your progress

Hi Guys, how is everyone? Have you managed to get your name changed wealthy woman? How is everyone totals coming on? My husband got a bonus last month so we were able to make a good size overypayment which was very nice :)

He's also had a payrise which means that we can put extra in each month bringing our debt free date, if we're careful, down to September 2010!!! I'm so chuffed! :)

It's a big milestone for us next month, we're going to be below the 50k mark!!! We just missed it this month which was a shame, but it'll be a bit phschological boost for the both of us. I have a sheet which I update each month and stick on our bedroom door - giving total debts, last months overpayments, debt free date and a piccie of what we'll do when we're debt free (we're going to treat all of us to a decent safari holiday - paid for outright of course :) ) Seems to help keep us both focused having it in our face all the time like that.

Righto, that's enough from me, I've spent the morning fixing an error in my spreadsheet which has been bugging me for a couple of months (luckily I suspected it was there as meant it looked like I had about 200 quid more than I did)

Hope everyone else has had a positive month.

:T Hi Brassic - good to hear from you.

Even better to hear that the debt is going down nicely. I remember the huge buzz I got when mine went under £50k. And you will be there before you know it.

May and June were a bit hit and miss and my debt actually increased  but I have got my act together a bit more this month and so far things are going according to plan, and I hope to be able to make a small overpayment at the end of the month.

Congrats on the payrise - a good difference to the DFD :T Hope to hear from you again soon.
