Yippee, got my first 1p find today! It was at the end of the aisle with all the Easter stuff, most of the shelves were empty and then I saw this box all on it's own, no price marked on the shelf. When I went to the till the SA said "Oh, this is 1p". Was worried she was not going to let it go through and I said "Oh really, was the last one on the shelf. Doesn't have a very long shelf life left and the box looks a bit bashed".

Well Chuffed, my first 1p find!!! was looking at the reduced easter bits in normal tesco store this morning they had a clip strip hanging to side with Disney Princess Sweets, Games & Surprises Stocking marked up as £2 tried it out on the price check scanner and came up as 1p!!:j Bought 8 as ideal for party bag fillers and expiry date not till July 2013. Contains colouring sheet, crayons, sweets & a surprise.

Hi, welcome!!! no its a price check scanner instore that anyone can use to check the price of something. Not all stores have them though, hope this helps.
If anyone can tell me how to upload photos onto the thread I will gladly post photo of the disney stocking, my photos are stored in windows photo gallery

They are fab! I managed to spy a box full (two clip strips with 12 on each!) forgotten about on the top shelf a few weeks ago! with such a long shelf life they are fantastic! Hanging proudly in my garage at the moment, and will be prizes for a stall at our school christmas fair with such a long date on them!

Funny thing was, when I enquired (as I couldnt reach the box) the SA said I had to say how many i wanted, before he would tell me the price! lol, having said that, I had a very strong incling from MSE that they would be 1p, so bit the bullet and asked nicely for them all!

Keep a look out in stores tomorrow for ladies, mens and kids hats, gloves, scarves etc as all the ones that have previously been in the sale are being reduced to 4p and there is still loads of stock hanging about. Once the staff realise its scanning at 4p they'll take it off sale and dispose of it!!

These are still scanning at sale price in my store not 4p

Popped into my metro this morning, and they had loads!

I bought 2 sets of each that I found (boys and girls fleece, and boys and girls knitted) SA was not sure she could sell them, so shr checked and the supervisor said yep they are just wanting rid!

I asked if I could get more, which I did and split them between the christmas fair at school and the shoebox appeal next autumn.

went round again and another supervisor was watching, said to the assistand (same one) 'Dont sell any more of them!!' I assured her that the SA had asked and was told it was Ok as I didnt want her to get into trouble!

While we were chatting I discovered she used to be a pupil at my kids primary school, I told her when the summer fair was and invited her to come along and have a good time!
