1p finds at Tesco thread

This thread is amazing! What do you guys do if the item scans up as normal price? Put it back? I'm such a scaredy cat!
A lot of stores have price check points scattered around. These are different from the self servce (ss) tills because they just tell you a price rather than ring up a sale. They are also located in the aisles rather than at the tills so you either have to search around for one or ask staff if they have one. Be warned, not all stores have them so you might be wasting your time having a look!
I use these machines to check prices of things i suspect to be 1p wherever possible. You are looking for anything out of season so for example the next things i'll be expecting to see at 1p are valentines and mothers day
If there isnt a price check point in the store (or its not working which is often the case) then i go to put it through the tills and if it scans at full price i apologise to whoever is supervising the till by either saying "i left my wallet in the car, I'll be back in a minute" or "i must have read the wrong price, i don't have enough for that"Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

I found Haribo Sparkly Stars today for 1p (and another box of TPO for 1p and 7 packs of cars 2 chocolate bars at 10p each)
The sparkly stars are in a red pack with "Haribo" written in green at the top. It also has a yellow teddy bear on the pack trying to catch stars with a butterfly netApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

There is a 3rd price checker there, left hand side of the store, past toys and houseware, think it's on the ailse with the DIY things, near to the light bulbs shelves. The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -
