so ive just been to the local tesco metro (levenshulme, manchester) and found nothing. nothing at all. the price scanner doesnt work either which blows.

so i picked a few bits from the reduced section which are ALWAYS THERE. the christmas twiglets, the whisky selection and the chocolate liquers were all very expensive still even though they all looked like really low grade products.

i guess this is all trial and error!

Hi, have been in the metro a few times - have dropped lucky now and again in there - nobby's nuts, 1p lindor eggs, and the 1p cadbury's mini eggs when they were on BOGOF.

Do better in Gorton Extra, but they are on the ball on the SS tills - go when it is busy. If you get any 1p items in Gorton through the normal manned tills, they will take them off you.

I found another 1p item that i dont think has been mentioned before

It was a big gift tube containing 13 Swizzel Drumsticks
