    Thank you gladysrocker!:T:T:T

Popped into my metro this morning, and they had loads!

I bought 2 sets of each that I found (boys and girls fleece, and boys and girls knitted) SA was not sure she could sell them, so shr checked and the supervisor said yep they are just wanting rid!

went round again and another supervisor was watching, said to the assistand (same one) 'Dont sell any more of them!!' I assured her that the SA had asked and was told it was Ok as I didnt want her to get into trouble!

While we were chatting I discovered she used to be a pupil at my kids primary school, I told her when the summer fair was and invited her to come along and have a good time!

I asked if I could get more, which I did and split them between the christmas fair at school and the shoebox appeal next autumn.

Thanks again gladysrocker - i got some things on the way to work for grandkids.

Scanned a few Easter sale crafty bits at my local today, not great prices but they did have 'Egg and spoon race game' which scanned at 1p, I took a the few that were there but got trouted at ss till, sa took them off me and said they weren't allowed to sell items at 1p :(

The set had 3 small choc eggs and 3 plastic spoons and a winner rosette. BB Dec.

Was rather peeved to have lost them, sa was very nice about it but a couple of other sa came over and there were whispering so it felt like they were gonna buy them!!!!!

There's an oft quoted Daily Mail article that says that Tesco says you CAN buy them and that you will be a 'lucky customer' if you do ! Check out post no. 680, Page 34
Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)
It takes 3500 calories to lose a pound in weight. Target 13 lbs weight loss. 18.5lbs lost 2nd May - 28 September.

Interesting, thanks for this. I'm still annoyed about having my items taken off me. I did ask if it was worth speaking to a manager but sa said they get told by the manager every week to remove 1p items from customers and sa get in big trouble if they don't so didn't really see the point in wasting my time. She did seem a really nice lady and said she felt really bad about taking them off me, but to be fair, she could easily have pretended not to notice, wonder if they get ' brownie points' for finding 1p things? Why else would you purposely take a few Easter games off a woman with 2 kids when you could pretend to have not noticed?
