1p finds at Tesco thread

i found after 8 mints as well, matching barcode, but scaned at £2.08

I went to Tesco in King's Lynn (which has 2 of them) both of them didn't have ANY of the 1p bargains. They did have the cuponk last week but mysteriously disappeared from both stores today when I wanted one!!! I had my list in one hand looking at all the bar codes, I think they were laughing at my expense as there were no bargains to be had.

...and now thanks to all the recent press interest there will be a lot of disappointed people on Christmas morning who will now know WHY they got after eight mints, stig socks or an umbrella for Christmas!!! :rotfl:

I tried carrickfergus, abbeycentre, knocknagoney, and yorkgate thats the closest ones to me in northern ireland and couldnt find any 1p bargains but did manage to get some head and shoulers menthol conditioner 400ml bottle for 97p and head and shoulders dry scalp conditioner 250ml bottle for 46p hth

i went tesco today and got the few items but whole items show full price, only DISCOUNT BRAND did show 1p.

i am very confuse about magic bum, as there is no 1p, charge me 4 pound, please could you clarify which product to buy, if possible photos or barcode or show what it said.

i went to self check out, the staff come cos i want to cancel 5 items, she looks at me weird style. i said i dont want it. she dont say anything, then she cancel all. i pay for normal plus 1p chocolate plain.

is it only few tesco show 1p, or whole tesco in UK?

shampoo is not available in 1p as i cant find the bar code match , i check each bottle 250ml. i give up.

I found a couple or pairs of childrens tracksuit bottoms age 11-12 were marked down to 25p but scanned at 1p so it was even better !

I got three bottles of Head & Shoulders shampoo for 1p each on Tuesday. Went back to Tesco on Wednesday to buy a few more, but when I used the self scan point (yes, ours was working!), it scanned at £2.49 and was promptly put back on the shelf by me.

They've obviously got wise to all these 1p bargains, and put stuff up to full price. I don't understand why they say that the 1p items are those that are discontinued - lots of them obviously aren't if they are still on the shelf at full price...

Was going to go today as my local tesco some miles away - don't think I will bother now after its been in the weekly email and hubby just seen it in the local paper - Tesco definately will have cleared the shelves or refue to sell the items now.
