Western Avenue has two! one in the clothing section, by the mens jeans and one in bedding!
Neither of them has ever been working when I've tried though
I found one in Pengham green on saturday, maybe 5th isle up on your right hand side as you enter (poss gardening?) and guess what? That one didn't work either. I have never found a working scanner.
I always do a double take when i read your posts because here in London Perivale Tesco is on the Western Avenue.
Your post proves what I just said about the scanners have they been taken out of action on purpose?0 -
Let's get rebooting every one in the country !!! :rotfl:MSE- The Glitchhikers guide to the galaxy0

I found one of the scanners at slough extra at the weekend ....errr....somewhere around aisle 14 I think (sorry.... I need to double check, I knew roughly the area thanks to a pointer from this thread but it took me a while to find as I didn't know what it looked like) Didn't find the one in the toys area - but given i wasn't sure what i was looking for I could've totall missed it.
I can report though that the scanner was working :j and that my harpic scanned at full priceFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

The one in llantrisant was working fine when I scanned my BBq's the other day
If anyone wants anything scanning let me know - though you will need to give me a good description of any item. I will see if there are any other cheapy items like those gardening sets for kids for 50p.

Thank you for this, I got 2 packs of these today for my son. I wouldn't have paid £10.00 but £1.25 is fair!
these are the ones that were labellled £1 in my store same as just socks, but was charged £1.25 as supervisor walked past and stuck her nose in. "did i want them or not"
so i took them as they are a good deal anyway and would have been daft to lose them jujst to jmamek a point, not very good at this arguing toss for refunds etc.0 -
they seem to have a new policy of not replacing the scanners when they have 'broken' (i asked a SA the other day as i couldve sworn there had been one in the branch i was in at the time). probably trying to put us all off testing prices quite so easily!!Car Boot Queen!!
Clothes Golden Rule: Never pay full price unless it is an utter bargain in the first place!
Sales, boots, charity shops, ebay- why would anyone ever pay full price for anything??!0 -
