Just posting as I don't want a reputation as a lurker, everytime I read someone saying something about lurkers I have this little feeling of guilt and almost that I am naughty for reading the posts without contributing.
I really enjoy reading the posts and I am grateful to anyone that has pointed me in the right direction for a bargain, or to save money. But I also feel that unless I have something to contribute then who really wants to see little old me say Hi!!!! I would love to tell a good story or two of the many 1p items I have found, but my local seems to always be on the ball, although I know I have competition, so they probably beat me to it and good luck to them. I feel really guilty if I drag my 9 month old out on the bus, in the buggy for a wasted trip. So I rely on my OH, when he's not at work to take me, as I don't drive.
Just pointing out that although I lurk, I really would like to contribute, it is not from lack of trying. I did post when I found moshi monsters a while back, but it was store specific as wrong product on wrong SEL, but that was a DTD anyway.
I also agree that this thread should be left as is..I enjoy reading it all whether it be 1p related or DTD or anything and as someone else pointed out, it helps all if some one mentions a good deal here. Wish someone had mentioned the £1 deal for xbox live as I saw that too late. Right back to my usual place of lurking..sorry for going on, hope to be more helpful in the future.0 -
Don't worry too much about lurking, I lurked for few years with a different user name before I was brave enough to post!!!!! I was a bit scared because in the past I've posted on other forums, not MSE and it was so clicky it put me off. I think people get the hump with people that lurk, purely to get the info as quickly as possible, which I think is what happened with the 1p spreadsheet. When you read it properly like you do and most of us do it's a great feeling to find a glitch and be able to share it. When I found one I was desperate to post it:rotfl::rotfl:You will eventually find one:T Their are so many tips on this thread and I think that's why we are finding more glitches as more of us are learning what to look for:TBeware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0

The stickers had certainly been taken off the Gordon Ramsey sets in my local but the black striped tumblers were readily available.0

briefs/socks in a box (5052320378357) for £1.25.
Thank you for this, I got 2 packs of these today for my son. I wouldn't have paid £10.00 but £1.25 is fair!

Where I work the glasses constantly cause problems as they are still coming in with the stickers on.
Someone has to remember to peel them off everytime they fill the shelf. If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550 -

jkcaroc where abouts in the store was this please?
Was it with main toys or seasonal stuff. Probably have a look tomorrow.
Thanks for the heads up btw :T
This toy was with all the other seasonal summer/beach toys eg water pistols sand toys, not with the usual toys they are not always in the same place in the same store. I was really lucky because the £1.25 toys had been placed above the 1p label and I thought they would be 1p too, but they scanned at £1.25. The cashier said she wasn't allowed to sell things for a penny but the extremely nice supervisor went to check and let me have 6 of the £1.25 toys for 1p as they had been mis-labelled, even though she could have refused. The lady in the queue behind me (pregnant + baby) overheard and said I'll have some of those if they're a penny and I said I'd give her a pack and I didStill virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)

Just back from Llantrisant and wanted to let you guys know that they have the £1 water guns there (plus I've left one by the price checker by the car cleaning stuff) - I didn't buy any of them but wanted to check them and report back, so fill your boots
Always Pantyliners Mega Economy Pack SEL says £3 also scans at £3 so was a bit disappointed about that as they were 75p last week but were OOS (I knew I should have asked for a rain check!)
Gillete Proglide Razors SEL £9.99 so left those on the shelf
No Harpics or GR dinner sets:(
Megablocks SEL £30, no sticker for half price though
Koko Green truffles scan at £3.99 there too, so full price - this store seems to be pretty on the ball with their chocolate prices, as when the Roses were 1p in other stores they were scanning at full price in Llantrisant.
But... I got one solitary box of After Eight mints for 1p woohoo. Whenever I find these there is only one box placed randomly on the shelf!
Also grabbed 13 bags of peanuts as we eat loads of these!0 -
Dead excited managed to find 2 boxes of the bricks labelled at £15 instead of 30 they were in the pet isle bought them and got charged £30 each .... heart was racing went to CS and they were really nice and were panicing were did you find them etc..got £60 put back onto my card. Going to be lovely pressies for my friends little boys. Many thanks once again for everyone that contributes and lets us all know about all the bargains out there this has made my day xxx0
