Hi all. The Belgium tarts n strawberry desserts seem to still be available. Please could someone post the details again, pretty please??? ;)

Tesco Finest strawberries and cream tart barcode 5051898 297541=50p (think someone said that it has white chocolate or cream on the top of it in the picture on the box)

    tesco finest belgian choclate cake=87p

I've just copied that from the penny items list. I've never found either in my Tesco :(

TBH I guess that is just a Tesco-ism, if they stop that sweetner it won't be long until we all start complaing to Trading Standards everytime we are overcharged.

I have tried looking back, but there are so many posts I can't seem to find it.

Which are the Dinner Sets for £8? I know some one said it was £38, but when I looked today there were a few at this price.

I need a new set and the GR one's in my store are priced at £50 :(

    TIA

I don't think uncle Phil has everything under control and that he actually knows what he's doing... T is going down and speedy... they can't compete with A even if they try very hard... first the price check dtd fiasco... then the rtd that doesn't come back for ages... now they even try tri wiggle out form the overcharging dtd... I can feel some BAD BAD press coming their way...

(so off I go to hunt for some blocks and razors... :D)

35GBP on the SEL should scan for 8GBP... mine is GEO SPOT churchill dinner set but most of them for the above price will scan for less... hth

and if you find a few with 35GBP sel just take them all to the till and ask to check the price before you buy...

Silverhairedgranny (remember she started the 1p thread) has posted on the grabbit thread that she has been informed that the DTD scheme ends today and from tomorrow the 11th July they will only refund the difference. In line with other supermarkets I suppose.

So if you were thinking of getting some Proglide razors etc, go today just in case its true.

    hth

My BIL tried to use a small Price check voucher on Friday , and was told they no longer accept them as price check has finnished . :rotfl:
Told him to email CS !
Never pay more than you have too
  • That is really rubbish about DTD. I saw the other day my store had lots of the hosepipes marked at £2.50, but checked on the price checker and were scanning at £6. My boyfriend wouldn't let me buy any though, said I didn't need any hose pipes and wasn't worth it even for a quid profit. Was gonna go back without him :D but reeeeeeeaaaaally can't be bothered today so will just give it a miss! This is Lincoln (top) if anyone wants to know, were loads left a couple of days ago.:)
